    • Despite this including "most" of what you need, it's not all there

You need to install the bracket to the pack - but no instructions on how to do it. Fortunately, there are easy to locate places where the holes to mount to the bracket need to be drilled. Two problems with this - first, you don't get either the re-enforcement plate or the hardware needed to install. You'll need to get both (and do get the plate, I'm guessing skipping this step will lead to a failed install on down the line) As for installing the backrest pad - there is no template included. I had do the best I could, but it's installing on a curved part that needs access holes drilled. I missed when I did mine and had to re-drill a hole. Fortunately it gets covered up pretty well with the pad itself on one side, and the carpet on the inside hides other transgressions. This one is entirely my fault for not taking the time to make a template, but a template should have been included. ... show more

The pack is not pre drilled for mounting to the dock and does not come with the bolts to even mount it to the dock. It does not come with steel mounting plate so I would purchase one before trying g to install. Hopefully this helps someone. I wish I would have known this . Its a nice pack but it's not complete as described. After ordering mounting plate and getting nuts bolts and washers and drilling it all out it's a decent tour pack just be aware it's not complete as it comes. ... show more

Excellent product but I think quality control must be lacking. Upon opening the package I found there was a big line of residual glue or something on the tour pack. You can see it in the attached photo. It won’t rub off and luckily I’m having it painted to match by bike anyway or I’d be returning it. Other than that, it’s actually a great deal and will work out just fine. ... show more

If you’re reading reviews you’re probably like me. Unsure if you want to buy a tour pack off amazon. Boy was I impressed when I got it. Every part was packaged very nice, no dings or scratches because of that. The mounting bracket is heavy duty. Comes with three keys, carpet and retractable strap for lid.
