Took an hour to install, Monday we got detachable bracket, nothing else, worried fed ex messed up. Contacted seller said no, 2 boxs coming , main box next day!!!. Took 1 hour Saturday, bracket is tight, no wiggle , box looks incredible. Though I wish the 2mm plate came with it, had to but that separate, which I recommend 100%, makes it more sturdy!! , ... show more

This is a great tour pack for the money. Definitely get the inner plate to stiffen everything up. I’ve also heard that the latches are iffy but I ordered some better ones that will also happen to match the latches on my bags which brings me to why I only rated 4 instead of 5.(Would’ve been 4.5 had it been an option) color options/variations. I did have to order separate latches since the satin black color didn’t have an option to come with satin hinges and latches. Not a dealbreaker whatsoever considering how cheap it is. Only time will tell if the satin finish lasts after some UV exposure. ... show more

I’ve purchased three of these so far, not because anything went wrong, but because I was so impressed with the first one. I ended up ordering a second one as a gift for my brother and then a chopped version for myself. The fit is perfect, it comes with a liner, and the black finish matches the original vivid black perfectly. It also comes with three keys. While it doesn’t have predrilled holes, the outlined spots for drilling are accurate and easy to follow. They may offer other limited colors, but if you have a vivid black Harley, there’s no need to spend extra at Hogworks, Advanblack, or Harley. ... show more

I have. 2017 ultra Classic, I wanted to lose weight from the original king tour pack . I went with the chopped Amazon version for $250.00, HD is $1200 plus mount $200, plus backrest. Fantastic value and workmanship. Well worth it Thanks

There are clear drill points to make the holes to install the mount to it. I also added a support late to the inside and the screws and lock nuts that came with the pack were better suited for that than the ones that came with the plate. This is for a 2014 and it easily attaches to my 2011 Road King and gives the 2014-2023 stretched saddlebags I added to my bike a smoother newer look for certain!
