Item fits perfect on a 2014 Fat Boy. Doesn’t stick out too wide like others I’ve see. Flat black looks great. Only 4 stars because the hardware that came with the item was incomplete. I received three bolts and only one washer. Had to supplement with three nuts and additional washer.

Unfortunately, I wrecked my 08 fatboy on July 4th. I was cruising on an old dead end road I go down a lot to watch the sunset. When leaving, I was doing about 40mph and had a deer jump out in front of me. Never saw it coming. God was definitely watching over me. I suffered some mild road rash and a shattered left leg. They couldn’t fix my bones, but they installed a rod in the left leg and I spent about three weeks in the hospital. Just got out couple of days ago. All that being said my bike did undergo some damage. Defender was done on the little bit as well as the front forks seems to be warped and the windshield has been pretty gnarly scrapes, and scratches, but the rest of the bike was absolutely fine. In fact after I finished tossing and tumbling I remember looking up and seeing my bike ahead of me and honestly, it looked like it was sitting on the kickstand which happened to be the crash bar. I 10 and 10 recommend that if you’re looking for a crash bar, this is one you should strongly consider. ... show more

They look great and were a perfect fit! They came with the bolts, but no nut. Luckily I found some in my bolt bin in my shop. Installed in under 5 minutes. Now I’m a little less worried about dropping my bike.
