This is what you expect from TaylorMade Tour Response balls. Not overly spinny, so tee shots won't be quick to turn, but soft enough to control greenside. I used these for two full rounds before writing this and found them to be durable. I used one ball the entire round and retired it after, but it was only showing a few whiskers with no hard scuffs of blemishes. I made it a practice to swap out a couple of balls on the other round (by made it a practice, I mean water depth tested one and forest distance launched the other). Prior to that, and the third ball that played the last 11 holes were all performing well with good tee distance without spinning into a balloon or slice/draw while providing enough spin and trajectory into the greens. The stripes are nice if you like to use them to align. The colors are a bit muted for assistance finding balls. I didn't notice the stripe colors really "popping" from across the fairway. As an aging golfer, I can appreciate any assistance that stripe might provide without going full Fred Couples with the all yellow ball. ... show more

Let me preface this review by saying that I dont consider myself a golfer, just someone who happens to own clubs and takes them for a walk a few times a year... Sort of like fine wines, I cannot appreciate the subtleties of something super high end (like a Pro V1 say), but I do know when Im not teeing up rocks that you got for free at a trade show. These play really nicely for me. I still shanked several, but thats not the fault of the ball. They felt as good as I could feel them off of the tee, and were also nice around the green. Not something you tap and wonder where its gonna go, but you also werent hitting a marshmallow. I do like the big stripe on them for lining up. I usually mark my balls with a line anyway, and this makes it really easy to see. Sort of like a divide as far as contrasting colors. Opinions are out on which color will work best. This box had a nice assortment, one sleeve of each. I havent played enough (its still super early here, so everything shows up right now) to see if some of the color get lost easier than others.     • They feel good to me
I'll admit to being a TaylorMade guy, so I might be biased. That being said, I do like how these play and the feel off the club face. I find them relatively easy to find as long as I hit them well. The stripe comes in handy if you take the time to use it.

Nice bright stripes on each one make them much easier to find in the rough, they stand out more than just a yellow or orange ball would. I hit some in the yard into a net and they felt great, nice pop off the clubhead. And you can't go wrong with the Taylor Made name, you know they're quality.

Stripe is not centered on most of the balls. I bought these striclty to putt with and they were a complete waste of money. I'm very dissapointed.
