The Power 9Five G5, developed for Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor – 16 times Champion of the World. Phil bowed-out of the PDC circuit at the start of 2018 and wanted to continue his journey with a dart that he felt reflected his experience & dedication throughout his career. Balanced for the stacking style of play ‘The Power’ is known for, each barrel has been cut with the stunning Trapezoidal Grip technology to offer outstanding levels of grip and feel. The barrel is then hand sandblasted to create a distinct matte texture for improved grip at the rear, and laser etched with Phil’s signature and Target Logo. Coated in a Blush Gold & Black PVD Titanium Nitride to provide long lasting barrel protection and enhanced grip. Finished with Ultra.Ghost + flight, Power Titanium G5 Shaft and Diamond Pro Point

Hands down, the most beautiful darts I've ever seen. I wasn't sure how I'd like the trapezoidal barrels, but they perform beautifully. But boy, are these things tiny! When I opened the box they looked like a toy in my hand. I've been throwing a set of Laserdart Pythons for years now that are fitted with Super shape flights and short shafts, and they look like javelins compared to these 9five's. At 95% Tungsten these things are slim! Phil is a rear-gripper, and I've found these are best balanced right around where the sandblasting begins on the back end of the barrel. So I've had to move back a touch from where my Pythons throw best, but other than that I threw these just fine with the setup from the factory. The Diamond Pro Points are simply awesome in terms of grip. You could almost walk up to the board and lay these things flat and they'd hold the board. I actually think they're almost TOO textured. They immediately started to pull the fibers out of the board I'm throwing on, which is in great shape and not been used much. So that's something to be aware of when considering these. Also, the flights are the smallest I've ever seen. Absolutely teeny tiny; smaller even than Slim fights, but they're fairly rigid and have been holding up well. They were perfect for these darts and I'll be buying more of these flights soon. My only real complaint on these is the sandblasted portion of the barrels in the rear. After just a half hour of practice they were already showing quite a bit of wear down to the bare metal underneath. While it has absolutely no bearing on how they perform, I have to think they could have come up with another way to add grip to the rear of the barrel without having such a delicate finish, especially at this price point. All that being said, if you're a stacker looking for the best fit and finish available and you can afford them - these are for you. And Amazon's price will be hard to beat, trust me I looked! ... show more
