Pretty cool dartboard although there are a lot of times plastic darts do not stick, especially if you do not have a straight tip before your throw.

If the Granboard people get their server situation right they could super popularize the sport. Here lately I have had where the board did not properly register a crucial double or bull or the game locks up and the is no way to reset. Also have seen it allow a score of 200+ points in a round when in fact I or the opponent only hit one trip. Impossible to back it up or finish the game. After that happens the score on one screen may show 100 to 38 and on the other it shows 100 to 171. But when things are working right, it is a nice experience. ... show more

** DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS ** The couple of bad reviews for this almost kept me from buying it. Luckily I decided to get it. This dart board is simply amazing. I came from an Arachnid dartboard that I ditched due to broken segments that I couldn't replace. When looking for a new dartboard I was surprised to see that none of them have LED screens now. Once I came across the Granboard 3 I realized that using an app on a tablet or phone makes WAY more sense. If the LED screen on your dartboard broke, the whole thing would be junk! In our case, I just stuck an Amazon Fire HD 10 to the wall with Velcro. So I ordered the Grandboard this week. It shipped from Japan and arrived at our door in Illinois in 2 days!! As others have mentioned, it comes with a sheet you can tape to the wall to help you with the mounting, so setup was as easy as can be. The app is awesome. It has all the standard games plus others I've never played before. The LED lights that I thought would be kind of a goofy gimic I wouldn't want turn out to be really cool. They change to a whole different series of colors. Numbers you hit also light up to show where you made contact. All I can say is this. I have never written an Amazon review before. I went on just to tell others who are on the fence about buying this board to just DO IT! ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY... Misses a LOT of hits
I really enjoy this board because it let's me play with my friends in other states. My main complaint is it will register a shot as being OUT when it is clearly in a number. It does this quite a bit and when you're playing against someone, you can't edit the round. They also updated the app recently and it's TERRIBLE now. UDPATE 6 April Downgraded my rating to 1 star- wish I could give less. The board is missing at least 1 hit every round- may not sound terrible, but when you are playing Cricket or 501, having the board report a different number than what was actually hit is VERY frustrating. I am losing close games because I am hitting one number, but it is awarding me a different (somehow always lower) amount. Additionally, the extra tips they include are complete garbage- you will have a bunch of broken tips inside your board. I have contacted the company, but I don't have many good experiences with sellers outside of Amazon. ... show more

Tons of players and never any hacks or cheaters. I purchased an H3L vDarts board for $450 and notice right away the small group of players. Everyone was an 11 rating or higher and I was lucky to ever get a live online match. This gran board app usually has 2-10 players waiting for a match at all times and rarely takes longer than a minute to pair. It's very easy to play with the same person for hours. I wish they had more online options like Tic-Tac-Toe but its still an awesome game to play with friends at home. The board never has bounce outs. The OUT of bounds sensor is nice but can screw up your game once in a while. It only senses the vibration and isnt a button like the rest of the board. The LED ring light is very weak and I never use it because it requires the USB cable plugged in, hanging from the wall. I almost wish I bought the Gran board 2 if it saved me $150. Set up took forever because of some error message. It eventually worked but I still don't know why. The USB cable to power the LED light broke and it also broke on my friends. Luckily, they shipped a new free circuit board and a Rubber Backing for me to replace because they said it's thicker and will help with their recent complaints. Good customer service. Follow up review. After 10 days all the LED’s stopped working. This isn’t covered under the 30 day return policy. Not happy. Follow up…turned out to be a bad power supply.
