This skirt was purchased for a Fall family get together and I wore it with a simple black sweater. I received many complements on it. It is a very warm skirt in cold weather and keeps your legs covered and away from the breeze. The material is very thick (it could have been just a little thinner), but not too thick. Ok here's the scoop, I have bought this skirt twice. I LOVED the look and feel of it but the zipper had a kink and I was unable to use it so I returned and rebought it for a second try. I tried the zipper on the second one and it zipped good enough. After I washed it, the kink in the new skirt started to cause problems in the same spot. So far if my husband helps me by starting at the bottom and gives it a running start he can get it all the way up. I just hope he doesn't zip my side in it one of these days. I actually love this skirt so much I decided to keep it and I will make arrangements to pay someone to rip the zipper out and put in a new one. So if you are a seamstress or know of one you should get this super warm, comfortable skirt, but be prepared to replace that zipper you stand a good chance of getting a faulty one. ... show more

It's nice but it flares out a little too much for me. I like that the pockets are deep enough to fit my hand inside entirely. I don't like that the lining is short. The lining is not the full length of the skirt causing me to need a slip underneath the skirt. The material is not made of wool as the description claims. It's a more a felt and wool combination.
