Description

These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modeling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing the model. Paint the body from the inside, keeping the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies. Note: Never use these paints on plastic models.

This paint is UV light reactive! This was a huge, unexpected bonus for an electronics project I'm working on. I bought some UV LEDs to make the polycarbonate case glow when I turn on the circuitry. I have not seen this property of the paint advertised anywhere. Having never gotten into RC cars or the like, it was definitely a surprise to me and one that worked out so well that I've been showing it off to everyone. I'm quite pleased! ... show more

Good vibrant color, however, if it is going to be a base color and you are going to mask over what you have painted, be careful, it doesn't stick to the undercoating very well and you can pick up some of this paint when you take the masking tape off.

    • Not enough content for price paid.
Nice color, not enough content in the can for 1/10 scale car. After several cans and a few layer of coats the coverage was still not evenly distributed. Was more apparent when adding the last light color coat, too expensive not enough. It’s made for really small scale like 1/18 scale or smaller.
