Love these! My wife was very skeptical at first, they felt, “scratchy” as she put it. However, once in the washer, on a cool cycle, and then in the dryer, on a delicate cycle, with little heat, they are nice. They do wrinkle a little bit, and you’ll be dealing with tufts of French linen that may come off in the washer, and or the dryer, (this was expected). That said, they did NOT shrink and look absolutely beautiful on our king size bed. We decided to go with the forest green, and it’s a great color. The thickness is lovely and no sweating at night; we live in a very warm climate year round. Yes, they are expensive, but well worth the investment. If you want bed sheets that look and feel great, these are definitely it. We will definitely be buying another set. ... show more

TL;DR Just buy them. Give 'em a few washes and give yourself a little time to adjust. I think you'll be happy. Texture: Yes, they are a bit scratchy rough at first, however I am somewhat sensory sensitive and definitely questioned if I could handle it and if it'd really get better; softer. I mentally prepared myself for these to feel awful and I washed them, scrunched them up, washed again, then dried before dressing the bed. I'll admit those first 2 or 3 nights were rough for me, but I was able to sleep anyhow. The worst was when rolling over. I opted to repeat my wash, scrunch and rustle, wash again, dry only 3 days in.. redressed the bed and they were already improved! Tried and true: It's been 6 months since I bought these. I could barely afford the one set but I will say: WORTH IT. We have other sheets; polyester mostly or jersey blends.. and I thought I would want to switch it up every wash.. but I don't. Our old sheets are basically dead to me. Lol I only keep them in case of emergency or cabin trips. I have no interest in regularly sleeping on Polyester or jersey or anything else besides this linen/cotton blend now.. so be warned, they're sorta addictive. Not only are they decently soft, they feel cleaner, the way they lay feels luxurious compared to polyester or jersey, they're durable, and they stay on our mattress. We haven't had to fix the corners every night like we do the other sheets we have. These have deep pockets, fitting a 14 inch deep foam mattress with ease. The color is subjective, I'd say it's a bit pumpkin but we paired it with green blankets and acquired our earthy vibe with ease. We weren't too concerned, just didn't want bright orange which it isn't. It's calm and grounded. Anyway, I earn nada from this review.. just a person who likes to share their honest opinion and experience. I hope if you do take the leap and purchase these, you are equally as satisfied as I am! I love these sheets. I struggle with being too warm at night, and also with feeling too constricted with regular cotton sheets. The linen is so breathable - I didn't wake up once due to heat. These linen sheets aren't at all stiff, but have enough body that they don't cling to my legs, which feels claustrophobic with my regular cotton bedding. I was skeptical about the quality when I first opened the package, and almost decided to return them. Since it was a Prime Days purchase at a discounted price, I took a chance and laundered them anyway, and they came out beautifully. I look forward to many years of use. Beautiful, soft. Expect the sheets to be wrinkled after washing. This is normal. Only issue I've had is the fitted sheet isn't super tight. They are not hot, but not cool to the touch like bamboo sheets. My cats love these sheets. I highly recommend.

i love 100% linen bedding... it somehow keeps you warm but you don't feel overheated... comfortable all year round... this is a very nice set of sheets at a good price... the fitted sheet fits well, as do the pillowcases... they wash well, too... cotton and microfiber sheets just don't feel as good.
