My partner and I used two of these on a road trip and both plan on making it our daily driver. It is a well designed thermos that kept our coffee hot for a shockingly long period of time and imparted little to no flavor to the beverages we used it for (coffee and water). The mechanism to open the lid makes it easy to open and close with one hand while driving, and the spout is thoughtfully designed to prevent spills while drinking (a problem with other thermos designs). The silicone gasket for the lid is removable and can be cleaned, which seemed to remove the residual flavor/smell from coffee and milk that accumulated over several days of use. We did take care to rinse the thermos at the end of each day, but didn't have a chance to do a proper wash until after the trip and they held up well and did not get disgusting or pick up too much odor (unlike my glass Takeya water bottle which needs a full wash and dry each day, making it almost unusable for hiking and road trips). I hope they revise this to use a metal carry ring, but otherwise it is close to perfect. ... show more

    • It Fits Under my K-Cup Dispenser!!

The media could not be loaded. It fits in my K-cup single use coffee maker, whereas my others don't. It keeps my coffee hot for hours since there have been times I couldn't finish it until later. I put cocoa powder in my coffee. It's convenient to lock and shake it to mix it well. On the otherhand, the coffee and cocoa stain the rubber seals in the lid. I've easily removed and replaced them for easy cleaning. The price was reasonable when compared to the store I saw it in. Color didn't matter to me so I bought the one that was lowest priced and STILL liked the color! The finish allows for personalizing with stickers, as you see in the video. The container is not overly sized so my smaller hand grips easily. It's recommended to hand wash. I like the little spout in the lid. I feel I'm less likely to spill when we hit a bump in the car while I'm sipping. I bought one for my husband. I use mine daily but he will use his on our next car trip. My daughter liked mine so much she bought her own. She also bought me my sticker. The heat from the beverage does not extend to the outside metal, however, FAIR WARNING... the exterior can get quite hot if left in the sun. The finish does not protect your hand from the hot metal. I was not burned but I also had to use a cloth to drink from it. The beverage was a little hotter, too, but still drinkable. Lesson learned. ... show more

It sits nicely in the cupholder, and it can be opened and closed with one hand. It’s easy to lock the cap in place, which makes it convenient to throw into a bag.     • Really Great Flask except the Handle Broke

If I could, I would give this 4.9 stars. Everything about this flask was absolutely great. The bottle is vacuum double wall and kept the contents hot as advertised. A lot of very careful thought was put into the most critical part - the cap. It is probably the most robust and best designed cap I’ve seen. The drinking ‘edge’ prevents spills; the cap tightens to a stop so one cannot over-tighten and ruin the seal: one hand to open/close the spring lid and lock it. The handle closes flush to the lid - no protruding bits. The Only negative is the material of the handle. It is brittle and broke after some time. Considering the stress on the handle, aluminum may be a better material for it. Despite the handle, I still rate this flask a high 4.9. I hope they fix the handle flaw - I’ll definitely buy the improved version. ... show more

This is my favorite mug for hot coffee and cold soda stream water. Keeps whatever you drink cold, hot and/or fizzy all day long. I like the smaller size and the ring holder. I can fit it in a few of my purses which is great. The lock is easy to flip on and off and keeps the top secure if it tips over. This is my second one. I hope they sell them forever. ... show more

Keeps my coffee hot. I have dropped it a few times and it has a few dings but no issues with keeping the coffee hot. It does have a great top seal, no leakage issues. I would note that the Amazon description says hand wash, not in the dishwasher. However, the back of the label of a new Takeya Traveler Insulated Travel Mug says “dishwasher safe.” ... show more

I love these Takeya bottles! They keep water cold for hours in a hot car, and the locking mechanism makes me feel safe putting them in my bag. The only problem is that if you drop it, the carrying ring on top will break and you’ll have to buy a whole new bottle. Still, I like them enough that I have replaced them several times.
