I ordered this set of notebooks with the intention of using them as one of several items in birthday party favor bags. For this purpose, they do not disappoint. I think they also could work well as treasure box items in a teacher's classroom. Personally, I wouldn't use these for note taking. I think they are more suitable for a child's drawings or doodles. This item arrived in a cute box that featured dogs on the outside. The packaging lends itself to gifting as is, though I plan to distribute the notebooks individually. It was a rather tight fight for all (16) notebooks inside the box. As such, some of them had some bent corners, but that was the only slight imperfection I discovered. There are a total of (8) different dog designs, and they are all really cute. Personally, I think there is enough variety between the background color of the notebooks and dog breeds that these will appeal to young children of both genders. All the books have a white, spiral binding, which allows the book to lie completely flat when opened. This is a great feature, especially for smaller children. All the pages are blank, and the back cover is a solid white. The measurements listed online states these notebooks are 7x4 inches. However, the ones I received are 5.75x4 inches. This size works better for my purposes (fits better in my favor bags), but other purchases could be disappointed if they ordered this based on the stated dimensions. Another potential issue is that the pages are on the thin side and tend to stick together at the binding holes. I could definitely see the pages ripping if a younger child was trying to forcefully turn them or pull them apart. At the time of ordering (and this review), these notebooks were priced at $16.99, which makes each one a little more than $1 each. I think this is reasonable, especially for a party favor.

These are such cute little notepads! The graphics are very clear and colorful! They are quite durable for being so small. I think my grandchildren will love them because of the cute kittens on the fronts of the notepads. They were also a good price for the number that came in the box. I recommend them.

My daughter loves tiny notebooks, but it's so hard to find notebooks with blank paper. These are unlined and perfect for artists who love the creative freedom to draw whatever they want. I love that they are big enough to be fun, but small enough to fit in my bag for easy entertainment on the go!
