I was skeptical about purchasing this since there was no reviews. It came in a big box. When I had opened it and it took under 2 minutes to set up! The poles have a hook on the ends that go underneath the mat through a small slot. The mat is fairly thick and would be perfect for those who have hard flooring, especially when the babies learn to sit up or crawl. The toys are super cute and each one does have a different sound. The musical toy does not come with batteries, you'd have to purchase AAA batteries. This toy is my son's favorite! He loves that it lights up and plays a couple of lullabies plus the sound of rain. The light changes color throughout each one. The plus side is....each lullaby plays for approximately 3 minutes!! The toys can be taken off the poles or moved around as each side has 3 tags for the hooks to be on, plus you can hook other toys on the hooks themselves. (I have taken one hook and toy off to be on the carseat handle) This mat does entertain my son for a while. He has spit up on the mat and I wiped it off, did not leave a stain. The one thing I have not done yet is wash the mat. I do believe it will uphold really well. I am very glad I purchased this and reccomend it 100%!! Update:: I washed the mat on regular wash with a quilt. Then dried on delicate. Came out wonderful!! No stains still!

Really cute play mat! I was looking for something that wasn't super flashy or too busy. It's a little more muted and calm than most. I love everything about it and my 4 month old is very pleased too. The mat is comfortable and thick and the toys are very catchy and so are the changing lights and songs it plays!

Its easy to put together. She's two months old and likes it alot. I also like that you can easily attach other toys to it as well. They matt is soft and nice looking. Con- the stay light up toy is hard to pull hard enough for it to turn on.
