The collar is very durable, and the seal around the AirTag is very secure! My dog loves running into the lake behind my house to hunt frogs, and throughout all of that, no water ever leaked into the AirTag compartment. If she was uncomfortable with a collar or harness, she would usually chew it up, but this one held up great. Even with her running through reeds and rough terrain, it stayed on and remained intact the entire time. The size was perfect for my 49-pound Australian Shepherd/Husky mix and fit her very well. I will warn owners, though, that if you're looking for something to track your dog over long distances, an AirTag is not the best option. I would recommend a GPS collar instead because once your dog is more than about 15–25 feet away, you may lose the ability to track them. ... show more

I have a Belgian Malinios and a red Catahoula and they like to jump out fence and go into (escape) the woods pretty regularly. One of these adventures led to them being lost for 6 days. So let me give out a friendly warning: the AirPod tracker only helps if your dog hits peoples WiFi but won’t tell you where they are exactly. So, the AirTag helped me know they were still alive but I could let find them. After they were found I did find the “tractive” satellite tracker and was able to attach it to their collars under one of the Velcro straps on this collar. So when they jumped a couple of weeks ago they were immediately found using the Tractive unit. (It’s affordable and worth every penny). I still love the AirTag for knowing they were alive out in the wild while we searched. So, to the collar, extremely durable, we’ve had it for almost a year. There is a little fraying around the Velcro but that’s normal for Velcro. The d-ring/clip did break off one of the collars (we have 2) so we now use the handle to clip the leads to, no big deal for us. Oh, and the Velcro tags, they don’t budge, ever. I also bought name tags that have rivets and you directly attach them to the material so they don’t dangle, I put that under where the handle is and used the Velcro strap to double secure it. I will purchase these again when the time comes. I really love all of the features and they have lasted a very long time with heavy use. Next order I’ll go up a size to accommodate all of the bells and whistles I’ve added to keep my dogs safe. ... show more

I recently purchased the Furrigo Black Collar for my husky, and I must say, I'm incredibly pleased with my purchase. This collar has exceeded my expectations in every way. Firstly, the built-in handle is a game-changer, especially when walking my energetic husky. It provides me with a sturdy grip and extra control during those enthusiastic walks. The collar's durability is impressive. Even with my husky's playful nature, the Furrigo collar has stood the test of time, showing no signs of wear or tear. The inclusion of the AirTag holder and protector is a brilliant feature. Like the tactical look even with a golden doodle wearing it. Who says you can’t be fluffy and look military tough . The air tag holder has a thin rubber ring which seals the unit when you tighten the two screws for it’s waterproof capabilities. Honestly I was concerned if I was going to waste 28 bucks on the apple tag but the collar has gotten wet about ten times of my 6 month old puppy in the water non stop for hours so seems to be holding up well. I will have to see when it comes time to change the battery. Would have been nice if it came with a couple new seals for a few cents they would have given me better piece of mind. The overall quality is good and price point was also good as well and I’m expecting to be having to replace it with another one in the next 6 months as he continues to grow. Only cons at least to my OCD ,were the buckle causes the weight to pull the collars slightly skew of the grab handle being centered on the back of his neck but instead rides on the left side but this may be by design because of the way it displays the patch on the right side. This also causes the d-ring for the name tag to ride to the left as well of hanging center by a solid inch or more. I found hooking his name tag to the buckle helped this look better but is still off to the left some. My opinion-The dog tag should hang dead center and for that I’m giving 4.5 stars and even with my OCD issues I will probably buy again when he outgrows this one. ... show more

Having purchased this collar nine months ago, I am happy I can place another order today as we consistently seek this specific collar in my house. It is undoubtedly our preferred collar. We have an 85-pound female Rottweiler, which may be considered smaller among Rottweilers, and purchased the XL size. I can increase the diameter of the collar by approximately an inch, if ever needed . The collar is adjustable and exhibits durability. Initially, I had to adjust frequently as my she grew but now that she has reached her full size, I anticipate this new collar will hold up perfectly for years to come. The velcro American flag patch remains in place, and the collar is overall well-crafted and distinctive. The handle is also a feature that I very much appreciate. ... show more

    • My dog LOVES it!
My dog loves his collar, it’s wide enough to be comfortable, the clip that opens and closes is heavy duty and durable, with that being said, it’s heavy. The Velcro patches didn’t last long, not very strong Velcro, and now that we’ve had the collar for several months it’s looking pretty rough, lots of frayed threads, I find it hard to take the collar off unless I have bright lighting as there are other metal components on the leash so it’s kind of frustrating, but let me reiterate, my 90 pound Pitbull LOVES this collar, he wants me to put it on him even if we aren’t going for a W-A-L-K which I find so endearing, so if your dog has a big personality, I think they might like this collar too! ... show more

Love these collars! I have made the switch to collars with handles as I found it’s easier to manage my three dogs when I can get a hold of them without feeling like I’m yanking them. The handles themselves are smaller than other handled collars I’ve had but the fact I can now feel secure and know exactly where my boys are, there’s no greater feeling! Two of the three never go exploring if they somehow come off leash but the third will protect us at all costs and gets tunnel vision when seeing and “intruder” and takes off after them. Scariest two hours of my life when the lead snapped and he was no where to be seen. He did come home but now that I can actually track where he and his brothers are and it brings me such comfort. For those worried about the screws coming loose, Im a worrier that tightens them every other day and haven’t had an issue with them being loose but some thread lock glue will work to stop that. Only feedback I can think of is make the handles bigger please other than that they are great! ... show more
