I would like it to have the Toyota emblem on there instead of the random “C” logo and have some different texture options but overall I like it. It was affordable, and it functions well. This is a great durable replacement case for your factory key fob. Video made for very easy set up of new remote. And Color options are outstanding. I just wish they offered one for my Lexus GX460. Looks a lot cheaper in person than on photos, made out of cheap plastic. Installation is easy, but as soon as I installed everything and tightened the screws, one of them snapped in half and got stuck in the fob and the other one bent. I wasn’t applying much force at all. Would not pay more than $5 for this, $30 is a robbery for this quality.

It looks great and feels durable. Honestly when I first bought it I thought it was a case you but your key fob inside. I was wrong, this item you have to take apart your key fob and put the chip, buttons and all the internals inside of this. It's actually fits everything perfectly and work just like the original key fob. It would of been nice if it had a rubber gasket lining around the fob that keeps dust out of the keyfob.

So I read all the reviews and I was expecting this purchase to go either way honestly. So like the other reviews said, this isn't a cover. You will take your FOB apart and move the internals over to this sturdier case. It is very easy to do and you need no extra tools besides the one provided. The key that is part of the FOB can any add a pry bar to open the original case. As for the key not holding in the car, not an issue with mine. I installed all the parts and it worked. You transfer the internals and the 3 buttons from the old FOB, this product comes with a new case and a push button with spring for retaining the key. I like this a lot.

While it was pretty straight forward to install, there is a little glitch in the key removal toggle switch. Once I had the fob put together it would not keep the hard key locked into place. It was like it needed another fraction of an inch to hold the key in place. I was able to get it in there by pretty much forcing the key and I even used a razor to shave a small portion of the plastic back so that my key would go further into the new fob. This is not a good. The installation was fairly simple, I am not sure why they didnt include the spring loaded key switch already attached, seems like that would have been an advantage because its a little tricky to hold it and put the fob back together. All in all its good and it looks good but I was expecting the actually case to be a little heavier material. It seems very light and I wanted a more heavy more metallic feel. I am using it and it looks good. Just a couple things I think would make it better.
