I put it together by myself, but a couple of the steps would have been easier with a second person. However, most of it can easily be put together by one person. The outlet to charge your phone was not the size I needed for my phone however, there are two regular plug-ins that can be used. Ample storage, with two drawers and an open access area. Nice little nightstand, easy to put together, and love the plug-in’s. I ordered the tall dresser that matches. The tall dresser is decent, harder to put together, and the top of it isn’t drilled properly so the top doesn’t lay right (see photo.) overall I’m happy with the purchase. This is a very sturdy, well-made piece of furniture. There are several pieces that are actually wood and not just fiber with a laminate over it. Taking one's time to assemble is the best advice for a good final product. It was not ultra inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

The description is accurate….it states engineered wood (particleboard) with a photo film vynal top coat and that is what it is. It looks attractive when assembled, it is functional. It does what it is intended to do. However this is not something you will cherish and take with you if you move. Nothing compares to real wood. The assembly process is long and tedious, it will take hours of time. Picture instructions are accurate, if you look at all the small details and follow them precisely!!!! If you don’t pay attention, then you will be frustrated. Take your time and follow each step as instructed. I think for the price, and the amount of time to complete, and quality of materials (pressboard) its not a super great deal…..its looks nice in my bedroom but I wish I opted for solid wood construction and spent the extra money. ... show more
