I am giving this an optimistic three stars in hopes I am going to be able to salvage the situation... but it's been mere hours since the wig arrived and I already regret my purchase (if I am not able to salvage it I'll revisit this review and change it to a one; I'll also come back with pictures). Honestly, if I had not bought it with a giftcard I would already be setting out to return it and get a refund (should probably look into that); I should have waited until the other wig i had my eye on had gone on sale. It arrived in a solid, tangled mess of wig that I couldn't even get my fingers through let alone a brush. I have been steadily working on detangling the wig--and applying a wasteful amount of Jon Renau Easihair (detangler meant for synthetic wigs)--for more than an hour now and have not even gotten a third of the way through. If that wasn't bad enough my detangling efforts seems to be damaging the synthetic hair... which probably means I am going to have to cut a significant amount of the hair off to even properly assess the wig. Sure, I was planning to cut and customize it anyway... y'know, after figuring out what I had to work with. I did try it on before realizing just how unmanagable the wig-tangle was. The lace seems be nice (but this is my first lace-front wig so I have no frame of reference) as it blends into my skintone quite well. The color is just what I wanted--it matches my actual hair quite well, and the curl is very similar to the texture it had when I wore it longer--but the hair density is slightly ridiculous (if you want it to look realistic do not skip the thinning shears) and there seems to be something with the construction that adds a weird puff right at the front that I couldn't investigate and experiment with properly due to the tangleage. Guess I'll keep trying to salvage this thing and regret my life-choices in the meantime.
