Features

  • Lights Dim Over Time, Replace In Pairs: Your lights are a pair, one is never turned on without the other. If one bulb burns out, the other isn't far behind. Replace your H11 SilverStar Halogen bulbs in pairs for optimum performance.
  • More Downroad Visibility: SilverStar halogen headlights create a whiter light with more downroad visibility that will enhance your overall experience on the road at night.
  • Whiter Light For Added Clarity: The combination of down-road, side road, and whiter light achieves more clarity during nighttime driving. More clarity improves contrast and makes it easier to see objects on and along the side of the road.
  • Reliable Design For Optimal Performance: SilverStar has a specially designed filament, propriety halogen gas mixture, and a unique lamp coating that shifts the color temperature towards a whiter light.
  • The Sylvania Standard Of Quality: With over 100 years in business, Sylvania is the world leader in automotive lighting for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket.

  • Quality lights; Read my review for info on burnout
I just installed these on a 2013 Cadillac CTS and they are brighter and whiter than the OEM (very little night driving on my Mom's car, so really OEM.) I can tell you to install on that car isn't easy because you have to remove part of the bumper but that's hardly the bulbs' fault. Others complained about these bulbs burning out too fast but you have to put it into context. These bulbs are brighter and whiter than the entry level lightbulb because they burn hotter and likely have a different gas mixture inside the bulb than whatever you're used to. There is an inverse relationship for all incandescent bulbs between lifespan and brightness. More life, less bright. More bright, less life. Using these bulbs >will< increase the temperature inside your headlight housing compared to more typical, less bright bulbs. This can be very bad if you frequently drive several hours per night without any cool down, or even if you're in a very hot climate. The hotter the bulb is, the quicker the filament will burn away. So these driving conditions could burn the bulb out before it's rated number of hours but it is actually what's expected. If you have an older car and these driving conditions, it is possible the excessive extra heat generated can cause physical damage to your car's electric or surrounding plastic. It's very unlikely you'll have that problem with any car in normal conditions. Check with a pro if in doubt. If you do a lot of night driving and want bulb longevity over brightness, whiteness and down range illumination then you might try one of the 2 cheaper bulbs made by this company. If you want better night driving performance lights there is 1 bulb above this by this company that does it, but beware those bulbs last for less time than this one. You'll get more runtime hours out of this bulb if you drive less than an hour at a time with lights on and do a 30 minute cool down between multiple trips. It's just the way it is with these bulbs. If you want the best of all worlds and will spend the money, some LED headlight bulbs on the market claim to offer both longevity and superior performance. Personally I find the light frequency of most LED headlights to be a strain on my eyes. ... show more

  • Works in my 2022 Chevy Malibu
The item listing said it would not fit my 2022 Chevy Malibu even though it has the same socket. I bought them anyway, and they worked. I think that is just something that Amazon needs to work out. Just be sure to look at your manual for your bulb and it will work. Anyways, the lights are great. I installed them a couple days ago, so I cannot vouch on the longevity of the bulbs. But, these bulbs function just like the stock halogen bulbs but are much whiter and brighter. I initially installed LED bulbs but did not like the scattered beams of light, so I came back to halogen bulbs. I think that for the mid-tier bulbs offered by this company, these are a great option that won't break the bank while still being very bright. ... show more

  • Good fit for 2012 Toyota Prius V
Just installed them. Make sure you are pulling the correct lights to replace because I almost returned them thinking they didn't fit 🤣 but that's just user error on my part. They fit my 2012 Toyota Prius V lowbeams perfectly. So far so good if anything changes I'll update my review.

  • Great performance. Not so great longevity
While these bulbs are more expensive than standard halogen bulbs, their performance justifies the price for those looking to upgrade their vehicle's lighting. The build quality is reliable, and the bulbs offer decent longevity, though they may not last as long as standard halogens. However, their brightness and performance make them a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to increase safety and visibility on the road. Overall, the SYLVANIA H11 SilverStar High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb is a strong choice for drivers seeking better downroad visibility and a brighter, whiter light for enhanced night driving. ... show more

  • H11 Headlight
As expected at a good price and fast shipping.

  • Bright headlamps for 4 months.
The headlamps are a noticeable improvement over my OEMs in terms of brightness and clarity. But the driver's side light blew out after only **5 months.** I have to have the dealer or other professional install headlamps on my car, since there's too much disassembly required, and I don't want to take that on. So, I paid more for installation than I did for the actual bulbs. And now I have to pay to change them out. I'm going back to OEMs - they may not be as bright as the H11s, but the last set lasted me 5 years and nearly 100k miles. Who needs a dead bulb late at night on an unlit country road? Consider me *very* disappointed. I won't be returning. ... show more
