I have tried a few other "affordable" garden trowels here on the big A and a few from wally world. NONE of them have worked out and every one of them have bent easily. The soil around my home is average and not rocky so not abusing my garden tools. Just got this trowel delivered and tried it out. Coud not be happier with it. Pretty solid construction for the price point. Only thing I can find wrong: the handle is a bit flimsy and have doubts it will hold up in the long term. It works all right until it gets stopped by a root. If your soil is relatively soft, without many roots or rocks, it should be just fine. It is stopped, unfortunately, by any roots that are in the way.
