I bought them for my daughter who is 5'7". They fit great. I would have given them 5 stars but they dont have a side zipper and I have to pull them off of her. I told her to wear lycra socks and that helped. The leather is really stiff. Hopefully it will soften up. However, the quality is fantastic and they look phenomenal on her. I'm a big fan of Steve Madden shoes and these boots are no exception. The leather is of good quality and the buckles are sturdy. The leather has gorgeous color variegation and looks somewhat "distressed" but in a classy way. I'm usually a 6-6.5 and I ordered a 6.5 in these--they fit quite well and leave plenty of room for thick socks. The buckles around the calves are adjustable, which is ideal for those with smaller calves. The height of the shaft is also quite nice--I'm 5'4 and they hit about 3 inches below the knee. Pros: Good looking boot Quiet (doesn't make a lot of noise while walking while some other boots I have are loud) due to rubber sole Cons: Suede-like texture easily damages Buckle & loop IS NOT ATTACHED to the boot. Slides around. Did not realize the buckles are gold. was expecting silver.

They fit as expected. I wear a size 6 1/2 and they fit comfortably with normal cotton socks. The leather looks distressed which I like, but the leather is smooth and doesn't have the texture it appears to have in the photo.

The boots were very poor quality and definitely not Steve Madden and not leather. I could not find the Steve Madden trademark anywhere on the boot. They felt and looked very poor quality.

Very good love them. They have a killer look!!! The black ones are awesome. However, the brown ones I got the right shoe is defective. So that was upsetting.

Size: 6 Color: Black Leather
I bought these boots because my cat ruined my other pair. I would've replaced them with the exact same pair but was unable to find them. I settled on these because they resembled my old pair the best. These do not have a zipper but the buckle at the top is adjustable so you can loosen the opening. The only complaint I have is with the strap around the ankle. It is not secure in anyway so it slowly spins around throughout the day. I had to tighten the buckle as much as I could which left the end of the strap dangling. I had to tuck the end of the strap around the larger piece which hides the pretty gold detail. If I left the strap hanging then it would clink as I walked. Since I have owned a different pair of Steve Madden black boots, I'd say this isn't the best quality boot they've put out.
