Being an orthopedic manager for most of my life, I have seen a lot of canes. Unfortunately, I am now at the point where I need one. When I suggested strongly the use of them, I played up the high points. Stability, weight-bearing aide, no-fall assist. But having to use one is another story. I love this cane. That may seem a stretch, but I feel great using it. Not too bulky, but not too flimsy. Big deal is there is no sound when you use it. Silent. Large rubber end is wider than most. I've got a back problem that causes intermittent pain in my leg so I need to have a stick available to me "just in case." I don't need to walk with a can all the time. This is an ideal solution. It folds up so I can keep it in my briefcase. I was in New York City several weeks ago and after walking several blocks, my leg really started to bother me. I stopped, pulled my cane out of my briefcase and resumed walking - what a relief! It works great, is very stable and supportive when used. The design is attractive. The cut marks in the black background are bright - can almost sparkle when it catches the light. I suppose some may think it too showy or looks too much like bling. To my mind, though, it offers a little style and works well especially when I wear a suit. Only negative - the black finish on the handle has worn off in several places from where the cane falls and the handle strikes the ground. All in all, a great folding walking cane. ... show more

I had a full knee replacement less than a week ago, I weigh about 250lbs and needed a lightweight study Cane. The price was very cheap for what looked like an aluminum cane - to my surprise, it was exactly as expected: well made, light, foldable, completely adjustable with a locking mechanism, and comfortable. For a foldable cane, it does not feel wobbly at all, but strong and very easy to handle. I would recommend this to anyone - I am thinking of getting it in other colors. ... show more

I am a young woman with a neurological disorder. I have trouble walking and standing for long periods of time. Most of the time I use a wheelchair but there's times when I can't, so that's why I bought this cane to keep in my backpack. I love it! It is very high quality and I have gotten so many compliments!
