I use a cane whenever I am out of the house, This is my go to cane when I dress up, or want to impress. I will buy another one, in that I gave mine to some one who need it more than I. You would think it might be to costly. Nope, it the same price as the plain Jane model.

FWIW, I’m 5’6 and my PT fit this cane to me and taught me markers for body/cane alignment; we found I can adjust the height to keep alignment in flats and sneakers (<1”-1”), boots (1-2” platform), and low (2-3”) heels. Obligatory *This isn’t medical advice: Talk to your PT/MD to see if this type/size of cane is right for you! :)* This is the only cane I use and I’m pretty rough on it. The base (foot? bottom?) grips most terrain just like a non-slip sneaker. Great on asphalt, tile, marble, hardwood, carpet, dirt trails, cobblestone streets, sidewalks…not so great on anything your sneakers would slip on (e.g., sand, wet grass, ice). I toss this thing around to get it out of the way whenever I’m not on the move and am generally careless with it yet nary a dent after 7 years. I thought I would use the collapsible feature all the time but never do—the cane is so lightweight and unobtrusive that its easy to stash (under chairs/tables, slid into a shopping cart, in the overhead compartment in planes). As mentioned before, a feature I DO use all the time is the adjustable height buttons: I switch between 3 heights based on the shoes I’m wearing. I would be bummed out and inconvenienced if I needed a different cane to wear with my Docs, Fryes, SB Dunks, Chucks, etc. With this cane, if I look out the window and see it’s raining, I can just click a button and go from my Jordans to Hunter rainboots while maintaining the body-cane alignment my PT established. The Cane is my most-hated accessory, but people compliment me on it all the time! I’m 99% sure it’s because they are being nice, but just in case: I have the gold😄 If you’ve gotta be a “cane-iac”, look stylish doing it. ... show more

I was reluctant to purchase a folding cane, but should not have been! This cane is gorgeous, sturdy, and compared to other canes, very reasonable. I purchased a different one elsewhere for much more money and it is not as sturdy or well made as this one. It will be beautiful with my gown at my Grand-daughter's wedding and know it will get much use at other times. Hip issues have me using a cane temporarily. I misplaced one I bought from CVS that was functional. Imagine my surprise when this arrived. It is much sturdier and supports me better.
