It's a nice, large toilet, very comfortable, and has a nice, modern look. I did have to move my water supply, as the back of the toilet goes to the wall, so the existing water supply line was in the way. It's not a big deal if you are doing a renovation, but if you are looking to just change your toilet, be aware of this. I would buy it again. ... show more

Been a plumber for decades, installed 100's if not 1000's of toilets in those 40 plus years. Remodeling one of the bathrooms here at home and I was thinking about a "tankless" toilet, as this bathroom is on the smaller size. Didn't want to run electricity to it, and we have frequent winter power outages where I live, so it wouldn't flush without help. I saw this toilet, looked nice, good reviews, so I said, "Why not" Delivered right to my porch, the box had some wear and tear but everything was intact, would take a significant "bump" to cause damage for it was well packed. I have installed similar brand name toilets at 4-5 times the cost, and they are no better, if anything, the fit and finish on this one, white, is better. BTW, the trick I use on concealed bowl bolt openings, where you can't see exactly where to sit the toilet down without smashing the wax ring where you DON'T WANT IT TO SMASH....is to put a couple of 2x4's in front of the closet flange, and behind, set it on that first, look under to see where everything is, if its good, pull the wood and gentle lower, have something soft, like a bundled rag on either end so you don't chip the china if it gets away from you, they are stout little buggers that take a firm grip and some braun to place....very doable, don't let that scare you, a ratcheting dogbone makes tightening the nuts down to the closet bolts a snap too. ... show more

SHOCKING! I have purchased 4 of these toilets. Have been satisfied (only small problems items that I could get the plumbers to correct) until the last one I bot for my daughter for her remodel. That Swiss Madison St. Tropez had a tiny pinhole blemish in the porcelain that leaked water. She finished the upstairs remodeled, including the guest bath. She travels a lot for business and was dismayed to find upon arrival home that the entire new bathroom floor was saturated with water. The floorboards buckled and the tile popped. In 2022 we submitted a claim with pictures, contractors estimates...everything they required. Then we WAITED. We called several times during the 13 months, and they indicated they were "working on it", so we wait And WAITED. January 16, 2024, we got an email that they would not pay any reimbursement for damages. So not only has the bathroom been out of commission for over a year as they led us on, but they they refused to pay damages on a defect that caused the toilet to leak. Companies who do not stand behind their products should not be allowed to sell their products, especially on Amazon! ... show more

120 pounds was not an issue for a 77 yr old installing it by myself. Moved it from my front porch where it was delivered to my bathroom on a hand dolly. Removed the old toilet and set aside. Removed the cardboard box and lifted Styrofoam from the tank, then laid the toilet on its back to slip the bottom Styrofoam off. Leaned the toilet back up on a piece of cardboard cut from the shipping box so I could slide it on the floor. Cut two 2X4 pieces of wood and two 1X4 pieces of wood 10 inches long. Stacked one 2X4 and one 1X4 together on each side of the existing flange plate with one end lined up with the mounting bolts that I had secured in place with some of the old bowl wax packed around each bolt; and the other end 2 inches from the back wall. Spaced the wood blocks to support the edge of the toilet base without blocking the mounting holes. I then Slid the toilet until the base touched the flange plate. I placed the new bowl wax on the floor flange plate instead of on the toilet. I tilted the toilet forward to get the back of the base up on the wood blocks and lifted the front of the toilet up and slid the toilet on the wood blocks until the tank was 1/4 inch from the back wall. The blocks are just tall enough to allow the toilet to clear the top of the new mounting bolts and the bowl wax. I lined up the bolts with the mounting holes on the toilet by inserting the old toilet bolts through the top of the toilet mounting holes and shifting the toilet around until the new mounting bolts and the old ones touched. I then leaned the toilet to the left and slid out the 1x4 wood block on the right side of the base and then leaned it to the right to get the left 1X4 out. I then repeated the process to get the the 2X4 blocks out. I placed the washers and nuts on the new mounting bolts and tightened by hand. I then placed all my weight on the toilet bowl to mash down the bowl wax and then retightened the nuts by hand. A ratchet and deep socket would work best to tighten the nuts but I did not have the deep socket so used a boxed end wrench. It works best to connect the water supply hose to the tank before mounting the toilet. ... show more
