The following review has been written for potential customers to understand the truth from experience. It is not my intent to create or reject purchases of this product. It's just one old man's observation. My wife clearly enjoys this floating thingamajig. She floats for hours and even nod's off in it once in a while. That being said' they do not hold up well in south Florida's brutal Sun. (Not many things do) The hammock itself will decompose and micro plastics are a concern. The pontunes are strong and well designed but they eventually fill with water thru the poorly designed threaded screw holes that penatrate the floats which may or may not be an intentional design flaw to create additional purchases. Overall I rate it a 7 out of 10 with 10 being excellent. ... show more

Have two. They are great, but the cushions are starting to shape and the fabric is discoloring. I need to see if they sell it separately.

    • Terrible Quality!!!
Do not buy this lounge chair! Installation was easy but our first chair had a rip in the seam of at the corner of the padded foot rest and pontoons also took on water after one use. We called In The Swim who shipped a prompt replacement of the cushion (with the understanding that we would need to ship the damaged cushion back). Out of the box we noticed the replacement cushion had a rip in the seam of the padded head rest. In The Swim offered to send a third replacement but we are sending both chairs back and do not want another one. Our friends ordered this chair at the same time and one of the holes their arm rests wasn't drilled so they couldn't install the pontoon arm correctly. While I'm impressed with In The Swim's customer service I am not impressed with the quality of this lounge chair. Save yourself the trouble and do not order it. ... show more

I love the new pontoon pool lounge chair you do not have to worry about it going constantly flat inside the pool and it is a very comfortable chair my last blow-up chair was not even a year old(I have had more than 2 of these chairs) hard to patch they always leak at the hinge where the back rest connects to the main body of the chair and way overpriced!! So why not get a real floating pontoon lounge chair that needs no patches to stay on top of the water. This is my second purchase of the floating pontoon lounge chair I got one for my wife and now it is my turn to enjoy a good product and stay on top of the water. ... show more

Hard to get in. And when you pretty much have to jump backwards the fabric at the food slides off. Would be better if there was padding on the head bar. The pad in below the bar and the bar hurts my head. The drink holders need to be deeper.

I bought this new pool lounge chair because my other one I had for 28 years be the dust from all the Arizona heat! The seat on this one is built a lot better– the other one had cotton fabric. This one has the nylon/ polyester material that is very strong and endures the heat a lot better and won’t rip. I’ve had it for two summers now - during the summer when I’m not using it, I put it up on the deck in the shade to keep it from having constant sun on it. The only problem I had with this was that both pontoons started leaking after about a month on the main seam and at the two holes on the top where they put plastic plugs – I don’t know why they had plugged holes holes there with plastic caps. I had to plug the holes and caps and the leaking seams with silicone and that kept the water from going in the pontoons. Water would go into the holes and then I would start to sink into my pool so I didn’t have a choice, but to fix it. I was gonna return it, but that was too much of a hassle because it was so big and I got rid of the box that it came in. I think there’s a bit of a bad design going on for it to do that or produced too fast and they didn’t do any quality control on it, before they shipped it out, to see if there’s any holes anywhere! Besides that it floats well when it’s not sinking and I enjoy the way it sits back and I love the colors blue and white, and the cupholders for my ice cold beers! ... show more
