  • Kids are not nice.
Style: Pirate Island Floating Pool Habitat
I bought this for a summer pool party at the local swimming pool. It was such a pain to put together. Hardly any room inside of it for more than one person. Kids were falling over the walls and I am pretty sure we had to patch a hole on arrival. I do not think it was worth your money unless it is a one time thing. ... show more

  • Pops really easy!
Style: Galleon Pirate Ship Pool Float
I bought this float for my son for his birthday! You should have seen his face when we gave it to him! He was so excited!!! He loved it! Puts it into the pool. Within 5 minutes it is totally unusable. With normal use. He is heartbroken. Im heartbroken seeing him so disappointed. Like a crazy person, I buy him another one. I can’t see him that sad. Especially on his birthday. I give it to him and within 10 minutes another float gone. It’s way too expensive to be ruined that quickly!! Anyhow. My bad for purchasing a product that wasn’t that good quality twice. It won’t happen again. On the other hand…. The giant $10 float I bought from sams club seems completely indestructible! I love the design. But hate the durability! And for this price! No thanks! ... show more

  • Popped very quickly
Style: "Ice Cube" Giant Pool float
I ended up buying 2 of these for double the fun. The didn’t last a week. Sadly it doesn’t take long tor a seam to give way. Ended up with 3 sided cubes. Trashed at the end of the swimming season.

  • Worth the investment !
Style: Pirate Island Floating Pool Habitat
This was a gift for my sons 5th birthday also perfect for his pirate pool party !! Is pretty big we have a 20 foot above ground Intex pool so their was still plenty of room if you have a smaller pool the size might be a concern for you took a while to inflate since very large recommend filing the bottom first and the top half way so it is easier to clip into the bottom after a full day of play with 15 kids the pirate island was still standing and pretty full as well would recommend the makers to make the whole in the middle a little bigger all the kids where fine in and out the float my concern goes for a kid getting stuck with floaties in the whole or a older child maybe a little chubbier to get stuck also while the kids are climbing on the island some times it leans witch is a little nerve wrecking if it is close to the edge of the pool had kids 3-13 on the float with no problems wouldn’t allow more then 3 10 years and older in at the same time and could fit about 4 or 5 little kids on it at once the ledge is also big enough for the kids to sit and stand on just like the picture seems put together very well wish the door of the pirate island/ ship was also able to clip on in some way since the string does come undone a lot and isn’t long enough to double tie also can’t really knot it because then it takes awhile to get off witch was also hard for the kids cute concept with the windows also being shields ! A little bonus of the float. Being so big is at the end of the Night all the floats fit right in the pirate ship and makes the pool a quick easy clean up !! ... show more

  • This split 3 days after the return policy, no rough play, just split at the seam
Style: Galleon Pirate Ship Pool Float
Manufacturers need to take responsibility for inferior products. The manufacturer responded to my email and informed there is a year warranty on all their products. They need a picture and proof of my purchase, will keep posted on outcome.

  • Coolest pool inflatable I have ever seen
Style: "Ice Cube" Giant Pool float
I bought this for my 12 year old for his birthday. I also have an 8 year old daughter. It arrive on time. Very well packaged. I used a small portable electric air compressor to inflate it. There are six sections to inflate. Only took about 20 mins., but wouldn't have wanted to inflate it manually, ie lung power. Very well constructed. Seams are very solid. Kids absolutely loved it. They had some friends over and they were in it all day long. I have never seen them have so much fun with any other toy, pool or otherwise. Only problem we had was them fighting about who got to use it the most. May have to buy another one. If you have younger kids, 7-13, this is a great pool toy. Update to my review from 5/26/12 after a years worth of use. Still think this is a really cool pool toy. Kids do love it. However, with all the use, it has developed several leaks that are unable to be patched at this point. So it lasted a year. Now for the price I am sure there will be reviews expecting this toy should last a lot longer than a year. My opinion, however, is that it costs about the same amount to take your child to a water park once. This can be played with the whole summer. If it doesn't make it to the next summer, I am sure your kids will have gotten $40 worth of fun out of it. So I changed my rating for durability to 4 stars and overall to 4 stars. Kids definitely want a new one. I'll probably cave in and get them another one. ... show more

  • Hours of pool fun
Style: "Ice Cube" Giant Pool float
I fancy myself a bit of a pool float connoisseur at this point. I live in a climate that we have 12 months of pool weather and I have a very active 8 and 11 year old that use the pool almost daily. Our floats get very heavy usage with anywhere from my two kids to upwards of 10 kids at a time. We had a giant round raft for several years that we loved that held up great that they no longer manufacture. We have tried a number of different rafts to replace the first one with terrible results and many amazon returns after instant deflating, etc....Then I saw the Ice Cube and decided to try it. I have waited several weeks to write my review to see watch the durability. The fun factor was off the charts from the first usage. My children are strong swimmers which I think makes a difference. This is definitely a work out. It is constantly moving and turning and the kids love to dive through from top to bottom and climb back in and use it like a hamster wheel. They fight to pull each other out of it. They put my husband in and laugh and laugh as they try and oust him from the cube, they have yet to get him out. This is the best family fun money can buy. We have had the cube for about three weeks now and so far so good. It has not lost any air and we have kids and adults alike bouncing off of the sides, dragging it on the pool deck (even with me telling them not to) and living on this through spring break. In fact as I am writing this I realize when I finish I will log on and order a couple more for future use. LOVE IT. I will say to the other comments it does take quite a while to inflate in comparison to some other rafts even with an electric pump. All of the nozzels are the smallest size and so they don't allow for very fast air flow but since we haven't lost any air this is a one time detail. ... show more
