I had the original swiffer sweeper but it has been getting a bit old so I decided to invest in a new mop. This has been a wonderful investment because it is so easy to use! All I have to do is click the mop parts together, press the bottle into the mop, install the batteries and the wet jet mop attachments on the bottom are so easy because it just sticks on using velcro instead of having to press mops into four corners with swiffer cleaning liquid dripping all over your hands. It is also amazing that you can just press a button so it sprays the cleaning product onto the floor instead of having it dripping off a mop attachment. My husband cleans the floors and he used this immediately and was very happy with the results. Make sure you vacuum very well beforehand, especially under built in cabinets. Otherwise, you’ll have fuzzy, dirty pads immediately. It took 2 pads to clean one bathroom and the kitchen (not large spaces). It’s not heavy, the handle is comfortable, it maneuvers easily, and seems like it’ll be sturdy. I had purchased one of these and after 3-4 months it stopped working (yes I checked the batteries). So this one is a replacement. Hoping this one lasts much longer as it is sooooo convenient and quick to use. It does a good job on vinyl plank flooring - no streaking or cloudiness.

I've had my Swiffer wet jet for over a year, and I can say it is consistently better than a conventional mop and bucket. When I bought it, I figured I'd use it for quick clean up jobs between "real" mopping. It quickly became clear, though, that it was doing a much better job. I have been using it exclusively for quite a while now and it continues to deliver. I used up all the built-in cleaning fluid (which is exceptionally good stuff) and have been spraying my floor with all surface cleaner before mopping over an area. It's not as convenient or effective, but still better than a regular mop. This is only to tide me over until I get a chance to get some more Swiffer cleaning fluid. The wet jet feature rocks. It makes me excited to mop, with such satisfying results. And who ever thought mopping could be exciting? ... show more

All spring, summer & fall our maple hardwood floors are thoroughly cleaned once a week (in addition to irobot inbetween) by vacuuming, then Swiffering, the wet mopping. But the floors seemed dull like maybe there was a film of dirt over it. My cleaning folks and I were astonished when we decided to try this after their regular routine. The amount of dirt it pulled up was was beyond any expectation and the floors were shining again once more. Now the final step every week.
