I thought I was going to get a pink set like in the picture, but I got a pastel green set. It’s still pretty but it doesn’t say anywhere on the product page that I would get pink ones even though the pictures are of only pink ones. It doesn’t say that colors may vary either (as of today, june 16th, 2024.) It’s comfortable soft and didn’t smell overly of elastic or rubber. I put it on my head like usual, but it keeps slipping down to my ears even though I wore it like I usually do. It feels like the same stretchy stuff that my other wig bands are made of, but this one seems to move around more. It is the same width as my other ones. It uses the velcro that doesn’t catch in your clothes as much (but still does). The sewing for the velcro is average. It did make me sweaty but not itchy. Then again it’s 80F in my room today. The clips work well. They do not pull or snag hair when I put them in and they stay in place well. It didn’t put any kinks that I could see in my hair. I used both of them to hold up a knotted ponytail. I didn’t use the wig cap or the edge comb but the edge comb has black flecks in the sealed package (see closeup). I’m not sure what they are. P.S The wig band is black on both sides.

I got this wig install kit for use with a new wig that I got. I am new to the wig wearing world (and especially the different kind that are available now) so it is hard for me to compare it to much else. I was looking for a kit that had most of what I needed in it and this fit the bill. I especially like that it included the small wig brush and the clips. I haven't tried it yet but will be wearing it this weekend so I will come back and add how I liked using it in more detail.
