    • Mixed Feelings - Works as Advertised but Unstable for Me when Elevated....
I have very mixed feelings about this standing desk converter. On the one hand, it's very reasonably priced for a standing desk and it works fairly well. It is a bit difficult to raise and lower but I kind of expected that. What I am disappointed in is that when this thing is in its standing position with my two monitors on it, it really does not feel 100% stable. When I type on the keyboard, after a while, the whole scenario starts jiggling around a bit. I'm 6 ft so I always raise it up to the highest level and that may have something to do with it. So although I really like the concept, I'm not completely happy with the execution as wobbling things tend to drive me nuts. I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to jury rig something to make this a little more stable. So if you're okay with something that isn't 100% stable when it is raised in the upright position, this might be a good choice. ... show more

The moment I picked up the box, I thought thus would be high quality as the box was heavier than I was expecting. It seems to be REALLY well made! I appreciate that they packaged it with care in using snug fitting styrofoam inside the box I don’t see any damage to it. No assembly required. Simply lay it upside down and cut the zip ties. Then turn it over and squeeze the button with your thumb to raise it. With your arms you can control how fast/slow you raise it. Once it’s where you want it, let go of the button but still hold onto it as it may “jump” slightly until it is locked in place (automatically). To lower it, while pushing the button it also takes needing to put a little bit of pressure on it in a gentle manner. I initially had the button on the left side (simply how I had lifted it onto the desk) but turned it around to the right side since I’m right handed. I share this to say that it’s easy to use with either hand. I’m 5’5” and I believe my desk is about 30” tall. The tallest setting on this riser was a little too tall for me so this riser should also work well for tall individuals. The surface is also really smooth so should be easy to write on. Aside from using a standing computer station while working at a hospital many years ago, this is my first standing desk. I’m beyond pleased with it but will update this review if something changes. Would absolutely recommend this! 😊 (If you notice any dust/scratches in my pictures, it’s either dust or my camera/lighting. Been doing some remodeling and have a feeling I’ll be sweeping up sawdust for the next month or so! Haha) ... show more

Very well built. Fully adjustable as it uses hydraulic at the bottom. Little bit heavy though but this makes it very sturdy. I used it at work where I usually sit the whole time. Now with this, i could adjust the height of my monitor, mouse and keyboard to be able to work standing and stretch little bit. Highly recommended. ... show more

This review is NOT for the item pictured. They have clearly kept the skew number, but changed what they're selling. When they say desk, they mean a whole desk. This is not just a computer stand. You need quite a bit of room for it and you need a sturdy surface. I was hoping this would be something I could easily move around with me and it's not, but it IS sturdy. Can't fault them for my misunderstanding though. ... show more
