I recently purchased this standing computer desk, and I am more than happy with my decision. This desk has not only improved my work efficiency but also my comfort while working. As other reviews have stated, this desk was well packaged and easy to assemble. it took me about an hour to assemble by myself, and I was being careful not to damage parts or strip any screw heads. The top comes in 2 pieces of laminated particle board. It is also thin, around13mm (.5 inches). I was aware of this before purchasing. But if I did not know this, then it would be a disappointment. Although the seam is visible after assembly, It doesn't affect usage of the desk. After plugging in, to test the rising functionality, the right leg stuttered. It seemed like the gear was slipping but it corrected itself and continued to raise fine. It's been working fine since. I attached a dual monitor arm mount and an under desk cable organizer and it has no problem supporting the weight. The rising/lowering motion is very smooth with moderate humming noise from the motor. The speed is good; not too slow, not too fast. There was one time that I had pressed my preset to lower the desk when I was under the desk to watch the motor. When I realized that it might drop or damage some other equipment on the top of the desk, I reacted by pushing and lifting the desk. This interrupted the the motor and caused it to stop. An error code displayed on the lcd, but at least no damages were made. This is a good safety measure to know about. I reset the controller and all was fine. I've had this desk for about 2 weeks and for the price, I'm very pleased. I would give it five stars if it wasn't for one irritation. I sometimes brush my knee on the motor under the desk because of it's size and mounting orientation. This doesn't happen often, mostly when I'm slouching in my chair and my legs extend further under the desk. I will probably add some foam around the motor so I don't hurt my self. Overall it's a great desk. It's easy to assemble, raises/lowers well, sturdy frame, good initial quality. Time will tell how well the motor will last, but at this price point I am happy with this desk.

The desk works well. I just wish the top didn't come in two separate pieces there you can see where they come together pretty distinctly. I like that the hooks are under the desk so you don't see them and they don't get in the way.

This desk was easy to assemble, but the only issue was that the pre-drilled holes for controller were on the opposite side of the motor which made it impossible for the cables to be connected. Not a big deal though, just needed to install the controller on the correct side. The instructions should be a bit more specific on details like that one to ensure that the assembly is done correctly. Other than that, everything seems to be working fine and no issues with the desktop as the packaging was acceptable.

I have had this desk for about two weeks now and I love it. Very easy to put together and have a good amount of space to work on. I did notice there was a knick in the side of the wood panels that I need to cover with something which was unfortunate. You can see it in the photos. I decided to keep it instead of returning it because I had already assembled most of the desk before noticing it, It's not so large it's unusable and I can easily cover it. I noticed some of the other reviews state the same issue. Great desk overall minus the slight damage to the panels.

Somewhat difficult to assemble be very careful on assembly fenicky motor drive assembly shaft into lift sockets, 2 piece particle board desk top may need 2 peito assemble or grow a third hand. Otherwise I would buy it again.
