Testing it around the house, it rolls easily, isn't heavy (empty) and looks great. I especially like the fact there is a zippable flap inside to separate sides. I think this will work perfect in that you can put shoes on one side and clothes on the other without them touching. My husband will be using it for a short trip to Vegas and then me a couple years later for a short trip to Phoenix. It’s a very nice, dainty, and simple piece of luggage with a sleek design. I loved how it’s expandable, and I was able to pack everything I had planned to take. Even when full, it closed perfectly without feeling forced. Traveling through the airport with it was mostly smooth. On hard floors and non-carpeted areas, it rolled easily. However, on certain carpeted or uneven surfaces, it didn’t glide as smoothly as I expected ,that’s the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Even with my duffel bag sitting on top, it handled the balance really well, and nothing tipped over.
