This is the good quality face cloth. It’s nice, thick, & soft. I love the way it feels on my face when I wash it day and night.

    • Highly effective in cleansing, but the rough texture is a little hard to tolerate.
While I really like that these face towels are made of 100% cotton, they are a bit more abrasive than what I'm really looking for. It's not so uncomfortable that it causes redness and the like, it's just a little too rough. This texture is exemplified by the thinness of the towel. At least when wet, it's nowhere near as bad. I do understand that they treat the towels with chemicals to get that pillowy soft feel, and this is a more natural product. So to be fair, these do lather up very easily and get my face nice and clean without any real irritation (and I do mean it when its a lot better when sopping wet, and it gets heavy in the hands as well). Makeup, skincare, and the like get lifted up very well with these, and they wash just as good. I wanted to play it safe and washed these towels on delicate, and that made a difference. Still, despite my complaints about the texture, this is working out for me regardless. The sky high value of $40 is highly questionable, but to be fair this is wholly naturally made set of towels if that's what you're here for. ... show more
