Arrived in a timely fashion. Only had it a week but so far so good. Was looking for something sturdier than the plastics ones you get locally. We are a family of 8 with NO dish washer. WELL : ) we do if you count the kids :) I've attached pictures with tray partially filled & LOADED down. This one is so much more spacious than my old one. Only complaint would be drainage & the tiny utensil holder. So since the slots for plates in my plastic one was all broken. I cut the utensil tray on it off & hooked it to this wire rack. See pics so you can see the difference in size. Can you say Recycle : ) I slipped 2 peanutbutter jar lids under the tray so it will title more towards the sink & that solved the drainage issue. Will update this post if I have anything negative to say about this product after we've had it longer. At this time I'd say buy it. ... show more

I actually saw this dish rack at a client's apt, during a cleaning/moving. I inquired and she bought it at Target. I however went my merry way and came to Amazon. I paid a few bucks less. I have a tiny kitchen and this thing fit so perfectly in the nook by the sink. It self drains and my older daughter praised me for my smart shopping(finally) no more yucky dish water buildup on the bottom of the dishrack.     • The drain board is useless.

The only reason for me to purchase this rack was the drain itself, and at that, this item fails. Water gets stuck on the board; it won't drain at all because there is no natural tilt towards the lip edge of the tray. So, to make it work, one needs to raise the back of the board at least 3/4 to one full inch. With a smaller inclination, waterdrops scattered on the board will not move towards the lip edge by gravity alone (the amount of water left after placing dishes and utensils on the rack weighs too little to overcome its surface tension and the friction of the plastic material). But even if the tilt is acute enough so all the water can reach the edge of the tray, much of the water still puddle up at the edge itself because it does not have a (double) tilt towards the center (i.e., towards the lip, in a ditch-like design). Also, although this is obvious from the pics, for water to drain into the sink, you need to place the board right at the border of the sink, which is awkward. Finally, plates do not hold in place because there is not enough lateral grab; they keep falling forward, and it's easy to see why from the pictures. Hard to comprehend how any buyers would give this rack a good rate. The item is going back fast. ... show more

I like that it has a drain that comes with it to put under it. The problem with this dish rack is that it is too shallow and it doesn't hold a lot. The sides and the racks that you put your dishes in should be higher. The dinner plates all lean over on the racks because they aren't high enough. I went to put a dish in the rack and it hit another dish and flew off the rack because of the design of the rack and it fell to the floor and broke in pieces. Now I am very careful putting items in it. I should have paid more and got a better one. ... show more

I was excited to try this dish rack, but after putting it in the counter, I realized that it didn’t work for my sink. Where it drains sits higher than my counter so water will “go backwards” and collect. I put two blocks on the back side to have it tilt the right direction, but not really what I had in mind. It’s made of a harder plastic but will probably need replacing just like the Kitchen Aid dish rack I had because it rusted. ... show more

Simply awful. Hadn't wrote my review immediately because I forgot and just tried to make it work. First - the angle is really bad for drainage and if it does drain, only most of the middle will. Second - it will develop micro cracks over a short time and leak I loved it at first but then these things started happening. An awful product and wasted money! Do not buy! ... show more

This works perfectly in my Dad's small kitchen. It's lightweight enough that it can easily be put under the sink when not in use, so you can use the countertop for food prep. I have been taking care of my elderly dad, and I leave it out because I try to keep dishes washed up as I go.
