We bought 12 of these mugs to supplement other mugs which are no longer available. These new mugs are a close match to the old ones, and are sturdy, attractive, and washed nicely in our dishwasher. The only issue we have is that when we prepared a 10 oz. cup of coffee with our Keurig coffeemaker (the standard amount we made with our old mugs), the mug filled up close to the top, leaving little room for milk or cream, which was never an issue with our old mugs, which may have been 12 oz. capacity. As a test, I filled one of the new mugs up with 11 oz. of water from a measuring cup, and the water went right to the top lip. Since I assume that most of these mugs will be used for coffee and many users will be adding milk or cream to their coffee, purchasers should be aware that a measured 10 oz. cup of coffee will leave little room for milk or cream, and you might want to limit your coffee to 8 oz. to leave sufficient space.

I purchased the 11 ounce Sweese 603.001 Porcelain Coffee Mug Set White They arrived in a very high quality box. The mugs were safely protected by a molded soft foam insert with cut outs specifically created for this style mug to fit into. I suspect you could drop the box on the ground from very high up and nothing would break. The white was more of a softer off-white vs a bright white. I prefer this softer off-white. Though the handle seems a tad bit narrow (but not thin), this handle size is appropriate to the size of the mug and still seems sturdy. Time will tell. I'd rate the quality of these mugs as HIGH. The walls of the mug do not seem too thin. Nice glazing & non-porous. MY ONLY ISSUES: 1) It takes them many days to respond via email or chat on Facebook. 2) Many of their mug diagrams & descriptions regarding ounces are inconsistent. Here are some examples of their inconsistencies: 11 ounce coffee mug diagram shows 11 ounces to the top of the cup 12 ounce coffee mug diagram shows 13 ounces to the top of the cup 15 ounce coffee mug diagram shows 15 ounces to the top of the rim while some diagrams & descriptions show 16 ounces to the top of the cup. 16 ounce coffee mug diagram shows 16 ounces to the top of the cup This consistency can confuse customers & makes me wonder if their diagrams and descriptions are accurate. Overall this seems to be a great company that cares about their product & stands behind it with their warranty process.

The media could not be loaded. I honestly thought the mugs would be a little bigger. I haven’t measured to see if they hold 11 ounces but they sure look like an 8 ounce cup to me.

I was impressed when I received this set. The colors are beautiful and the mugs are a really nice quality porcelain, easy to hold and lightweight. I think it’s the perfect size for a regular cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa!

The 11 ounce size was what I was looking for. The handle is comfortable and sturdy. The flat bottom makes it less likely to tip over. The price was very reasonable, and you get 6 mugs. I ordered another set to have enough for guests and in case of breakage. I am very pleased with my purchase. I searched through many other brands sold through Amazon. So glad I found these!

I had a previous set that were all nearly lost or had broken over time. Wanted to replace them. These seem much smaller inside. The inside bootom rim is difficult to clean. They don't hold much liquid. The one remaining old mug is our family favorite. Going to have to look for a better replacement. The colors are great, though!
