And having a slit on both sides was a little awkward sometimes when it would shift. Either way, I'm still glad I chose this dress. I got tons of compliments and my NYE date was stunned 😉! I probably could have gotten away with an XS for a tighter fit but it is a very nicely made dress with only a bit of stretch so a small was perfect. Stick to your usual size since the back is zip up! It’s very sexy with the slits and sheer top to it, but still elegant and really flattering! Lol just make sure you have a nice black push up bra or little cami for underneath and you are ready to go! This dress is stunning and fitting. The lace has some stretch also which makes it extra comfortable. It's soft and feels good on the skin. We are using it for a witch/gothic Halloween photoshoot and I can't wait to show of the dress. So first off, I just have to say I got so many compliments while wearing this dress to a wedding. Everyone from the photographers, wedding planner, to guests said it looked amazing on me! The only cons I have to mention is that the lace detail doesn't look high end (which I expected with the price range! so I can't really complain I just wanted to mention that), and then also I had to have this dress hemmed 2 inches. I'm 5"3' and this would have tripped me all night/I'd constantly would have stepped on it if I hadn't gotten it hemmed. But it fit like a glove, and as I said I got sooo many compliments on it. 10/10 would wear again. lol ... show more

I never can win getting sizing correct online. I’m 5’3” and 135 pounds and usually a small. This dress had absolutely no give and was too small to zip up.
