I am the co-founder of a successful Montessori preschool in D.C. and founder of an in-home, Montessori microschool in northern Virginia. Brian's book is simply fantastic. As someone who is more of a business person than an educator, I just LOVE it! This book is a practical guide to successfully make a lot of money while still serving young children. What I found most helpful was his advice on how to manage finances and purchase real estate which is what I specifically needed help. This is a niche industry and, no offense, but I find that most early childhood education groups and/or certifications focus on the how to provide world class education, but fail to truly teach how to remain profitable. It is challenging and motivational, but provides the tools and steps to attain the goal. Easy read, with loaded nuggets that must be put into action to acquire results.

His book is full of Information, and it helps you in a lot of ways, great reading, a book that you truly can't put down, you actually want to know more, I've been working with kids for over 30 yrs, and actually didn't get far, I still have a day care, and I want to go further, may be build a small day care center, after reading Brian book, I've learned to step up. and not be afraid on getting ahead or bigger. I really enjoyed this book. It’s an easy read and love the layout of the book…offering 101 nuggets about what it takes to run a profitable child care business. I took a lot away from the book as I prepare to launch my first child care center.

    • No Matter The Size Of Your Program, I Highly Recommend!
I started my childcare center out of my home and then moved to a small location where I opened a small center. My goal was to run a successful program and do what I love to do. I purchased this book after I had the honor of speaking with Brian and honestly, it didn't take long before I saw ways to change things that would make my center that much better and my life that much more manageable. Every day since reading his book, I have done something to work toward my goals and every day I have seen improvement and growth. I'm still a small center (by choice), but I have grown and I plan on expansion. I may only have one center in my career, but it's going to be the best, it's going to be well run, and it's going to be profitable, and I can say that is mostly thanks to Brian and his book.
