Full disclosure: I am a 41 year old woman, not a 13-14yo boy, but this jacket fits me like a dream and I absolutely adore its retro styling and perfect fit. It's got this awesome 90s Brooklyn vibe to it, but obviously with California styling. It's colorful but not garish. It's soft and sweatshirt-y on the inside with just the right amount of polyester sheen on the outside to look a little polished. It doesn't look TOO much like a sweatshirt, but it also doesn't look like you ridiculously shelled out major bucks for a retro jacket that looks like this... It's casual, fun, and super flattering. It looks great snapped shut (omg the snaps are so amazing) and also drapes perfectly open when you don't snap any of it. It's... amazing.
