I do HIIT-style workouts several days/week and love high-waisted leggings. I've heard good things about Sweaty Betty leggings and was excited for the opportunity to try their 7/8 Power Ultra Sculpt version. For reference, I'm 5'4, 122 lbs, have a fairly athletic build, and my measurements are 26" waist and 36" hips. I usually wear an XS in shirts and between a 2/4 in pants. Based on my measurements and the SB size chart, I chose the size small legging. Small is for a 27" waist and 38" hip, but XS is for a 25" waist, so I decided to err on the size of larger (or so I thought). Following are my impressions of the leggings when I tried them on: 1) The material feels very sleek, but not shiny, and is opaque enough to be squat proof, but isn't excessively heavy or hot. 2) The 7/8 length is perfect; it's my preferred length for workout leggings because I don't have really long legs and the pants reach nearly to my ankles. 3) The pants are TIGHT. I know they are power sculpt and meant to suck you in, but I think a medium would have been a better fit for me. Upon pulling the leggings on and trying to adjust them upward, I heard what sounded like stitches popping! I could barely get them over my hips. Once the leggings were on, they did look good and indeed, made my booty pop. But I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of them because of how insanely tight they are; it's beyond comfortable compression. Overall, these are really nice high-waisted leggings that definitely "sculpt" and suck you in. But, I can't give them a glowing recommendation for actually working out, due feeling so squeezed in. If you want to try them, definitely size up!

I purchased these sweaty betty leggings for my daughter who is a dancer. She loves these and says they fit very well and are comfortable. They don't slide down and are great for dance classes and exercising. Would definitely purchase again.

I am loving these leggings. I have shorter legs, so the length works perfectly for me. They glide on easily, and are comfortable, but still seem to give some nice "sculpting." These are my new go-to leggings.

Love the fabric on the legs, but that waistband is terrible. It is thick and rolls down. Very uncomfortable. I also wasn't a fan of the seems (they are a bit pronounced and I can see them picking up lint very easily).

This is a really nice pair of workout leggings, there are several pros and a few cons. The first and most important con is that the belly compression band doesnât provide too much smoothness when it ends and connects to the legs of the legging and a line forms making it clear where the compression ends, itâs not super noticeable but I can see it. Since the compression part is really strong it can be a little bit of a pain to get them on but itâs not a huge struggle The leggings are kinda see through when you squat so be aware of that if you exercise in a very bright gym. I really liked how the leggings made my legs look, I also really like that it doesnât cut at my waist. It makes you look very slim and everything is in itâs intended place, the butt lift is a really nice pro. I used it once for barre and didnât have any issues in any part of the class, and I used them once for running errands and they were super comfy Totally recommend but read the other reviews too

I was excited to try this brand, as they are known for high quality activewear. These leggings are made of a nice lightweight and super smooth material. I love the way they feel on my legs! The waistband, however, is very stiff, almost as if this material has a backing fused in it, and it rolls down very easily on me. I have to constantly adjust and full them up. Perhaps sizing up would help, but I got the XL which is a US size 12 and no larger size was available. I am a size 14 right now, but I do have several styles of LuLulemon leggings in size 10 (from prior to weight gain) that still fit me just fine. The rest of the legging is fantastic! Not at all see through (squat-proof), nicely placed and sized pockets, and high quality fabric.
