This necklace is adorable. The down side is that is chain can easily get tangled around the swan's neck. This caused mine to chip after 2.5 months.

These Swan Swarovski earrings couldn’t be more perfect. The darling crystal adorned swans are removable charms on small round hoops with clear crystals. The swans are so unique and pretty in a mix of clear crystals with light blue crystals at the bottom that make me think of water from a lake. When the crystals catch the light, these are so sparkly and lovely. The hoops have secure closures and feel comfortable. I prefer small earrings, usually diamond studs or small hoops (or both as I have double pierced). Even though I’m tall, I don’t like big costume jewelry earrings as they can look gaudy to me. These swan earrings are tasteful, and the sizing is just right as they have a delicate, feminine look but are still big enough to be noticeable. The proportions of the swans to hoops is spot on and these hang just right. The rhodium plating is nonirritating, and these shouldn’t tarnish. The swan and hoop design is versatile in that it looks elegant enough to wear with a dressier outfit, but it’s also a fabulous look with everyday casual wear like blue jeans and a nice black sweater or any cute top. These are well presented in a nice blue gift box protected by a second blue box and are very gifty for a birthday, Mother’s Day or any special occasion. Good: -The subtle blue at the bottom of the swan is beautiful. -I like the size of the swan. -The necklace looks to be of good quality. -The chain length is adjustable. -Looks better than the photos. -It’s light weight. -Clasp works well. -A layered look with other necklaces would work with this piece. -Great addition to a casual or dressy outfit. Bad: -The necklace moved around during the day and I found myself having to turn the clasp to the back of my neck. -No instructions on cleaning and maintenance were included. I love the style of this necklace because it’s simple and beautiful. I like the swan pendant since it is the symbol of Swarovski company.     • Brilliant Crystal Swan Pendant Necklace-Chain Only Adjusts to Max 17” But Can Add Another Extender

This Swarovski necklace with a swan pendant is sparkly and cute. The swan pendant is small and the same size as the swan charms on matching Swarovski earrings (sold separately). I’d prefer the swan pendant was sized a bit bigger than the swan earring charms, but the pendant is still lovely and looks brilliant in the light. It has a pretty shape and a striking mix of clear with blue crystals that I think gives an effect like the swan is on a lake. The chain and swan look delicate but well proportioned to each other. The rhodium plated chain is thin, delicate and short. An affixed extender adds 2” so it’s adjustable from about 15” to 17”. I prefer a longer chain and fortunately found a 3” Swarovski extender, so I can adjust the length up to 20.” The pendant could be removed to put on a longer thin chain, but I lack the skill as I’d have to remove an end off each chain and replace them after. I love this swan necklace but do think it would be better if the chain and/or extender were longer as a 17” chain is short for a lot of women. 4.5 stars. ... show more
