Painfully tight mechanism that closed on my ear, making it almost impossible to get off! Thankfully, a family member was able to pry it off my ear! Why couldn't Swarovski place this beautiful swan on a french hook or lever back instead? It is so disappointing to see such a lack of fine design & quality control from such an iconic company as Swarovski. These Swan Swarovski earrings couldn’t be more perfect. The darling crystal adorned swans are removable charms on small round hoops with clear crystals. The swans are so unique and pretty in a mix of clear crystals with light blue crystals at the bottom that make me think of water from a lake. When the crystals catch the light, these are so sparkly and lovely. The hoops have secure closures and feel comfortable. I prefer small earrings, usually diamond studs or small hoops (or both as I have double pierced). Even though I’m tall, I don’t like big costume jewelry earrings as they can look gaudy to me. These swan earrings are tasteful, and the sizing is just right as they have a delicate, feminine look but are still big enough to be noticeable. The proportions of the swans to hoops is spot on and these hang just right. The rhodium plating is nonirritating, and these shouldn’t tarnish. The swan and hoop design is versatile in that it looks elegant enough to wear with a dressier outfit, but it’s also a fabulous look with everyday casual wear like blue jeans and a nice black sweater or any cute top. These are well presented in a nice blue gift box protected by a second blue box and are very gifty for a birthday, Mother’s Day or any special occasion. I am a fan of Swarovski. I have jewelry, figurines, Christmas ornaments, household items like candle holders and much more. I even have some of the clutches. These earrings are a great addition to the line. They have some color in them, which gives it an ombre look of clear to blue. The swans can be removed from the earrings if you don't want to wear them. ... show more
