My wife and I have been collecting the annual Swarovski Christmas Ornament since 1992. The are wonderful to look at, however, the only bad thing I have to say about them is do not wash them with anything. Only dust these beautiful ornaments because even cleaning them with water could cause them to come apart which has happened to four of ours. When we check with Swarovski about our problem they wanted eighty dollars for each ornament just to look at it before attempting to put it back together and even then the price would go up depending upon how much work was required. The ornament could probably be put together using some type of crazy glue but a very steady hand and a lot of patience would be required. Even with the issues we have had, we still bought the 2022 ornament because of how beautiful they look on our Christmas tree each year.

I'm an avid collector of these beautiful ornaments and have approximately 25 of them. I've ordered them from Amazon once or twice before. It's the same beautiful craftsmanship on the ornament, but they've drastically changed the boxes. They're no longer the classic triangle boxes like all the others. That's not the end of the world if that's how the company is doing it now. I personally love the original recognizable triangles and don't like that they won't all be the same. My biggest complaint is that the box came with the outer box damaged. It's marked up, corners are frayed and has a label sticker right on the front over the brand. This may not be important to a lot of people, but if you're an avid collector like me, you may not appreciate that.

This has nothing to do with the quality of the ornament. I ordered the Ball. This is in regards to the packaging. Imagine my horror when I pick up the very large Amazon box off my porch and hear ringing coming from inside of it, and can feel something moving around. I open the Amazon box and there is a green box, wide open, with the ball rolling around the box. The jingling was the little year tag hitting the ball. The green Swarovski box cover was flat in the box, not even over the Swarovski box. There was absolutely no padding in the Swarovski box or the big amazon box. I expected crystals to be everywhere but didn’t see any. The ornament looks to be ok, which says something about it’s sturdiness. Or luck. Anyway, the ornament is beautiful. The packaging was horrendous. I expect more shipping protection, especially for how fragile this is. The shipper could have at least put the Swarovski box cover around the little box and that would have stopped it from coming open….

This is the perfect gift for your grandmother, mother, wife, ect, I have been getting this for my mother for 20 years and before that my dad was getting this for my mother, in the last three years I have been getting them for my mother and fiancé and each year they both love them! My fiancé loves the different designs every year! Making it a new gift eager to receive each year! They use to come in a blue triangle box but recently they changed it to a green octagon box which isn’t the worst. I will continue to buy these for my fiancé!

I have been gifting the annual snowflake ornament to my married children for eight years now and, although this year’s edition is beautiful, I am disappointed. The ivory exterior box is very cheap looking— like something that came from The Dollar Store. The emerald/Kelly green interior box is equally unimpressive...even in the eyes of a person of Irish descent. Most upsetting was the “Product of Vietnam” sticker slapped on the ivory box. Everything about the packaging of this ornament screams cheap. The only reason that I did not return these ornaments was that I wanted to continue their collections. A beautiful, sparkling and not inexpensive ornament such as this should be enclosed in equally impressive packaging. Bring back the blue triangular box!

I love the Swavorski annual ornaments. This one is my favorite because it’s an Angel. I do not like the new packaging. If you are a collector you like the continuity of like packaging. I think the new packaging does not represent perceived value of the blue with the velvet like inside.

I always get my annual stars from Swarovski direct especially since the market seems to be flooded with fakes and knock offs. I ordered this one from Amazon because it was SOLD by Amazon and not some unrecognizable 3rd party which could be supplying a knock off. Overall the crystal and packaging look real so I am hoping that Amazon is Selling legit Swarovski crystals.

I am not picky about the ornaments. They can make any design they want as long as it’s not the same one. But this “1960’s green, open and expect some Shalimar” of a box is a hot mess. I fully expected to open and see it wrapped in shag carpet. I swore it was a knockoff; was set on returning as well. What in all the world were y’all thinking? Who looked at the triangle blue box and thought, “hmmm I think we should take it back to the Brigitte Bardot era! I know! A cheap white box and a green octagon is definitely [NOT] the better option.” Dios Mio. I can’t even. But anyway, I love the ornament.
