Bought this for an AR-15, could not be happier the illuminated reticle is strong enough to see in daylight (adjustable from 1 to 12 and night vision). The BDC reticle seems to work pretty good zeroing at 50 yards. The zoom lever is included and makes changing magnification a breeze. The glass is nice, very clear and with minimum chromatic distortions, keep in mind this isn't a Swarovski o Smith and Bender, and cost just a fraction of those prices. At 10x the eye relief gets a little tighter so there is that, it is not a problem for me, since that kind of magnification is just need when shooting prone. All things considered I think it is a great value, very nice scope for a multi purpose rifle. ... show more

Decent scope for 1-10 Pros: Good price. Clear glass. Well built. Cons: Eye relief isn’t that good when zoomed. Heavy. Throw lever is hard to move.

Great scope for the money. I also own a vortex 1-8 and honestly I like most everything on the swampfox more. The only thing is the glass. Fuzzy around the edges and harder to aquire your view when at max magnification. Still a great optic, I love the turrets, the reticle, illumination, and it just looks more badass than the Vortex. I'm going to play with it some more and may update this post with some better info. ... show more

This an amazing scope, which could be used as a red dot in low magnification, or zoom in as scope. Very easy to install, to zero in, and keeps zeroed. I have 5 of them.

A friend of mine had a major competitors optic starts with a V, almost bought one, but decided to give Swampfox a try. I have bought two Holographics as well now. The clarity of the glass is nothing short of TOP NOTCH!! I own a Nightf@#$% scope and would have no problem pitting this against it. I put it on a 5.56 caliber, which is what the reticle is designed for. Love, love this scope, way more than I bargained for!! ... show more

Mounted on HK SR9TC, very nice. I like how short it is, used to have problems with the G3 charging handle and the scope, not any more.

    • Like someone else said, the eyebox is not great, it degraded over 4X for me.

I really like the turrets, although after sighting in at the 25, then the 50 yd line, minor adjustments at the 75yd line, I was off the paper, that's on me, more than likely. I will have to go back and start over another time. Over 4X to 6X and the eyebox was very tight, the eye relief was hard to manage, it could stand improvement. I torqued everything to mfg specs. Sadlak Mount, Vortex pro rings. I have a Strike Eagle on another rifle, 1-6X, great scope, I should have stayed with it, but wanted to go to the 10X, and I liked the milrad reticle, they didn't have the crosshair type in MOA. I will update this rating after then next range trip. I also, even though this is a preference, should have stayed with the MOA reticle, and not bought a Milrad. MOA just seems easier for American measurements, Milrad more suited to meters, which I don't like, again a preference. I will say that if your going over 6X on any LVPO, You probably need to go with the higher priced models. ... show more
