I bought this because my wife makes so many deviled eggs for different occasions. It makes it so much easier, faster and more decorative. We had one exactly like this one that lasted many years, but it finally wore out. My wife would not tackle all the deviled eggs she does without it.

Not worth $1.99 let alone $30 dollars! Threads holding tube to trigger mech are useless, couldn't get through one batch of cookie dough without the tube popping off, returned the same day that it was received.

I didn't open and use this immediately and when I did I saw that there was a crack in the plastic casing. Because I waited too long to use it I wasn't able to exchange for a replacement. I've been able to use it but I am worried if I will be able to get the replacement part when that crack eventually breaks, because it will render the whole thing useless. Other than that the device performs beautifully. It's very easy to use and very easy to clean.

Poorly built. The filling I was piping into a pastry leaked around the threaded collar that presses against the steel cylinder and made a mess. See photo. Started leaking at the threaded area on the left and began dripping from the area marked on the right. I screwed it together so tight it was extremely difficult to disassemble and it still leaked.

This decorator is well-made and so much fun to use. I made some beautiful deviled eggs. I enjoyed not having to use a bag with decorator tips because I feel they are difficult to use and the results are not uniform. This product also reduces the amount of waste because the gun forces the the contents through the tube. It was definitely worth the money.
