I purchased this to add access through a ceiling, where my outside water faucet shut-off valve is. The original hole was huge, with a large cover. I had to replace a section of drywall, but since I was doing other drywall repair, it wasn't a bother. It seems quite sturdy and is just large enough for me to fit my hand through to access the valve. Looks much better than the one that was previously there and more than twice the size. I used 4 screws to mount the panel instead of adhesive and I'm glad I did. Opening the door is easy except the middle clips are very tight and may pull the panel loose unless you also pry the door open at the center point. Otherwise the door looks and works great for my needs because I don't mind having exposed screws. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Using to access gas valve in wall for my barbecue. Like others have mentioned, door is difficult to open. With 220 grit sandpaper wrapped around a paint stirring stick I sanded the latch on the door. Plastic sands easily so I tested fit often until I got it where the door opened without having to use screwdriver. The 220 grit left smooth surface. See pictures and video. Easy to install, you will need some glue, I have used Elmer's glue for wood but you can use construction glue and etc. Cut the opening in the drywall to fit this door, run bead of glue around the opening, install this frame with the door, then use some tape to tape it to the wall until glue doesn't cure. ... show more
