I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! I am a size 11 extra wide, for really high heels I have to get a 12. It's very hard to find a sexy high heeled shoe, never mind a sexy high heeled boot in a 12, but these delivered!! My foot slid in easily, I could wiggle my toes, and I didn't have to struggle to zip them. They feel secure and I can walk in them with confidence because it doesn't feel like the heel is wobbling, bending, or giving way in any way. They have a platform in the front so my foot is not "on pointe" and I am not tipping forward. People are amazed at how high they are (they make me about 6'5/6"6") and they ask how I can walk in them..."Very EASILY!!" I say. The heel makes them seem like they are impossibly tall to walk in, but the platform in the front keeps your foot at much less of an angel (so deceptive ;) I would think that if you can walk in 3 inch heels (w/o a platform) then you can easily walk in these...that is about as pitched as your foot is. They are super comfortable!! The straps and buckles on the side are just decoration, as is the gold zipper on the outside of the boot, and they are sewn on very securely. The working zipper (on the inside of the boot) is easy up/easy down...so far no sticking or tugging. The laces are real (and stiff), but you don't need to use them (unless you need to tighten/loosen them at first). I've found that stiff, waxy laces like these normally don't stay tied, THESE DO! These look great with skinny jeans resting at the top, long jeans that go over the boot (but I hate to cover those buckles!), and with tights or jeggins and a tunic or over sized blouse or sweater. This boot is it!! Super sexy, comfy, and lightweight. The only con is you can see the glue used to keep the sole intact. That’s only if you the boot is up close though. The boot is lace up. There’s no side zipper like most boots.

Very easy to adjust to prevent the shoe from coming loose. Though the seam where the tongue (kiltie) connects to the boot is less flexible than the leather around it, causing it to dig into my foot. All the more so if you try to wear the boot with even the thinnest orthopedic sole inserts. While the heel's bottom is a slick plastic, the construction and width is enough to still comfortably and confidently walk. ... show more

The bottoms of the heels pop off pretty easily. I got in 2 wears and on the 3rd i didnt realized it popped off. I went without the bottom of my heel just long enough to commute to work before i noticed. I found the bottom of the heel and put it back on but its too late, the heel is ruined. Even worst theres no options to contact the seller. I added pictures to compare the heel that popped off (pic 1) and the one that did not (pic 2). I could not get through 3 wears!! Im upset because they're so cute but what shoe has heels that pop off like that? If you get these, glue them! They didnt even bother to glue it, its just a plastic puzzle peice like thats supposed to be enough. I would have been fine with a replacement and just glueing the heel myself, but my advice is to not waste your money on shoes you have to alter. For this price point you can get a pair better made with actual customer support. Edit: i wore them only a 4th time after this review and within an hour on my commute to work the iside toe part of the shoe caved in at the botom making them entirely unwearable. Super cute and (mostly) comfy. Fit well; but the actual soles are low quality and the heel creaks and flexing doesn't help. Not bad for the price; but not somrthing to wear a huge amount.
