  • Perfect
Size: 8.5 Color: Arizonam Adobe
Great prices. For $140 bucks plus a $20 dollar coupon make the best purchase possible. In my personal opinion the boots look great and fit nicely I ordered them half size smaller than my regular shoes and they fit perfectly. Quality is good, too early for durability

  • Nice Service Boot Look & Comfortable!
Size: 9.5 Color: Brandy
I am not sure of the quality of the leather, but it seems good, based on the affordable price. A bit stiff and with imperfections, but the boot design is really nice and stylish I think. Beauty is the eye of the beholder, and to me the design pays homage to the classic service boots. They are comfortable, in comparison to other hard leather boots of even higher quality, and I really like them a lot. Their quality control department may need to pay more attention, I think, as I returned the first pair I ordered because some areas the leather was deformed and some of the imperfections were too hard for me to ignore, but the replacement pair I got, it's much better. I would give it a 4.5 star rating overall. ... show more

  • Extremely well-made pair of boots, priced competitively for what you get.
Size: 9.5 Color: Brandy-z
Extremely nice well-made pair of boots. These are not cheap boots, but they should last for years. They’re even made well enough where you could have them re-soled if needed, I expect to wear these for years to come. They’re very comfortable even right out of the box which is unusual for boots at least in my experience. They’re a little stiff in the ankles, but that will wear quickly. I got the brown and they are very nice looking. They fit true to size, I’m very happy to have them. ... show more

  • Timeless Comfort and Style
Size: 9.5 Color: Brandy-z
I can't express enough how much I'm enjoying these boots. Sure, they’re a bit stiffer than what you might expect at first, but that’s something that will ease up with wear. The moment I finished lacing them up, I was reminded of putting on my ice skates as a kid. It may sound a bit odd, but as someone who has always struggled with weak ankles that would easily sprain, I really appreciated how these boots kept my ankles aligned. It took a little time to get used to the feel, as they’re different from the other shoes or boots I own, but once I broke them in, they became incredibly comfortable. Not only that, but they look stunning. I’ve received countless compliments from everyone who sees them. While they are on the pricier side, I find the craftsmanship and durability make them worth the investment. These boots are a versatile, minimalist style with a high-quality leather upper that only gets better with age. The fully lined, supple glove leather interior provides all-day comfort, and the studded rubber outsoles and cork-bed midsoles mold to your feet, offering support and cushioning for hours of wear. Plus, with a 6-month warranty, I know I’m getting a tough, long-lasting pair of boots that will hold up over time. Whether for business casual or everyday wear, these SUREWAY handcrafted ankle boots have become my go-to footwear, combining timeless style with incredible comfort. ... show more

  • Good Boots!
Absolutely love the boots! They are a little stiff at the beginning but once you wore them a few times, they feel very good! The quality of the boots is really good for the price, much better than what i have expected. They dont slip and they dont untie, the clips feel weak but i hardly use them . Keep in mind that these are not wide boots, so be prepare to feel a good tight feel. ... show more

  • Comfy but ugly
Size: 11 Color: Black Matte-z
So, I really wanted to love these. They're definitely comfortable and good for long wear during the day. Where it starts to fall apart is that they're just downright ugly. The leather isn't shiny, but it also isn't matte. The leather work isn't well done and they feel cheaply mass produced. As comfortable as the souls are, unless your only goal is to absolutely destroy them you're not going to like them. They're in a weird place between a dressy and casual look, but fail to reach either. These are probably going to just take up space in my closet for a while before they're eventually donated. ... show more

  • Solid, stylish and above all, customizable
I spent 20+ years doing rock, ice, and alpine climbing, everywhere from the tropics to the arctic, and at my peak, my collection of boots would have made most shopaholics jealous. I had to have a pretty wide selection of boots, but my feet always stayed the same, and since not all boots are made alike, I had to get pretty good at customizing and fitting boots. Even after more than two decades of experience fitting boots, I wouldn't say I'm a master at it, but I'd say I'm a very solid journeyman. It's been over 15 years since I set foot on a mountain of any significance, so I'm having to break out all my old boot fitting gear and try to remember all my old tricks. But that said, here goes... First off, these are well-made boots. The stitching is tight everywhere. I went over these boots pretty thoroughly, and didn't find a single loose thread or stray stitch. They're also made of real leather, not the fake PU leather, which means they can be safely heated. There are special boot heaters made specifically for that, but I've always just used a hair dryer on the lowest heat setting, and that works fine as long as you give it a bit of breathing room so it doesn't overheat. In addition to being safely heated, another advantage of real leather is that it can be safely stretched once it's properly oiled and heated. Those little 70's-yellow gadgets in the picture are boot stretchers that I have set up specifically for my weirdly shaped feet. These boots, like virtually every pair of boots of any kind that I've ever bought, do not fit my feet very well right out of the box. But they're nice boots, so I'm not just going to send them back for fitting imperfectly. I'm just going to make them fit perfectly, which means punching out the heel about 1/4", adding just a bit of volume over my toe knuckles, and widening the toe box on the side of the big toe knuckle. That whole process will take me about 3-4 days, but it will be worth it. You can't really do that on boots made of PU synthetic leather. You can try, and sometimes it will work, if the material is sufficiently heavy gauge, but usually you'll just end up ripping your boots open, which is worse than an imperfect fit. So not really worth the risk, IMO. Once the upper is stretched to fit, there's the footbed to deal with. As you can see from the third and fourth pics, the insole that comes with the boot (the orange one) is very flexible and soft. That's good and bad. If you have a relatively low arch and very neutral foot posture (neither pronated nor supinated), and haven't had too many foot injuries, the stock insole will probably feel quite soft and comfortable to you, so by all means, roll with it and enjoy the ride. It really does feel like a good balance of soft, but supportive. That said, I don't have a low arch, my feet are quite notably supinated, and I've had too many foot and ankle injuries to count at this point. So I need a thermo-moldable, custom-bedded insole (the blue one), which I looted from one of my old pairs of climbing boots. That insole alone made a huge difference in the fit and comfort of the boots, even before thermo-molding it to these new boots, or stretching the uppers. So, if you're trying on these boots for the first time, and they don't feel quite right, definitely try a properly fitted insole before you send them back. If that makes a significant difference, then just commit to the boots and go get them stretched or otherwise properly fitted by someone who knows how. These boots are worth it. Another thing I really like about them is the fact that they use cleats rather than eyelets for the top laces. On my climbing boots, I used to leave those undone on the approach, then do them up tight once we got into steeper or more technical terrain. Cleats are very versatile, and there are plenty of ways to adjust them or wrap them to separately control the tension across the toe box, the bend, and the shin. You can't really do that with eyelets. That will give these boots an almost athletic fit once I have the other fitment issues all customized. I'm kind of excited to see what that will be like once I have these all fitted up. Lastly, I love the fact that the sole is properly stitched and nailed, which means it's replaceable. If you take care of quality leather uppers, they will last much longer than the sole. And when that day comes, you can go to any proper shoe shop and they'll put a new sole on it for probably about half to two-thirds the cost of a new pair. That might not sound like a major savings, but if you make any realistic estimate of the value of your time to custom fit these, and then consider that you'll have to spend that time again if you buy a new pair, re-soling is absolutely the way to go. Every single time. Full stop. I could literally go out and put a top-shelf Vibram climbing sole on these boots today, if I wanted to. That would be a terrible waste of the brand new, high quality sole that they already have, but I could do it. Or I could put on a nice leather sole to make them look more dressed up. Either way, it's nice to have the option. And some day, I'll do exactly that. So, for those of you who got bored with the technical stuff and skipped to the end, here's the bottom line: these are good-looking, high-quality boots that can be custom fitted, custom laced, and custom re-soled, if you want to take the time to make them absolutely perfect for you. And if you take care of them, they'll last a long time. So if you're on the fence about getting a pair, I'm really not sure what's holding you back. ... show more
