I've been a fan of Sureway for a while. They make functional boots that you can work in and be comfortable wearing for extended periods of time. Only time will tell how well these hold up. My others lasted about 9 months of daily wear for various tasks before seams started splitting near the side of the foot. These shoes won't last forever, they probably won't make it a year if you work them hard but they make for a decent light duty boot. They are true to size, easy to clean and as long as you flip them upside down to dry on hot days they stay relatively fresh. Until We Meet Again -Off the Grid Ken

I work a low impact, but physical job that requires good mobility. I generally clock around 10 miles of walking in my work day, but I have other boots for that. I do however get into wee projects or just need to be outdoors in my free time, so I figured I’d buy Chelsea style rugged boots, so I don’t have to fiddle with laces, post-work. These seemed alright. Put them on, immediate snapping sounds. Banding on right ankle is loose. It happens. Chelsea’s wear down like any shoe. The leather loudly pops. I hoped it was just stretching, but now there’s a bulge, exacerbating the loosed-banded boot. Not to mention, these are loose inside, making the aforementioned issues seem oddly paradoxical. I hoped on an easy day, I could fit these into my workwear rotation, but with this fit, impossible. Add the insert, now they’re too tight and throwing off contours. I resigned to these being, slip-ons to get mail or take out trash. Maybe a long career in this role would redeem them. There was some rain, nothing terrible, but the boots were not happy. I’ll include pictures. In my teens, I lived in the Scottish Highlands, I’m in Rhode Island now, long story. So through lived experience, I’m sincere when I say I’ve had dress loafers take on manure runoff bog mud better than these took a puddle. They look like I stole them off George Mallory’s corpse. Look, don’t rely on these for anything more than very casual walking. If you have any budget concerns, keep looking. Times are tough and I just don’t want anyone who needs a reliable boot, to lose out. Effort went into making these, maybe I got a weird pair and they didn’t give me trench foot, but they did manage to disappoint me in maybe, a collective 2 Hours of wear. Seriously, I got these weeks ago. XxxxxX Addendum: So, I admittedly had a less than stellar experience with this specific pair of boots, but if you’re reading this you know boot buying online is a gamble and I can only speculate on the cause of my experience. Maybe it was a fluke of manufacturing or my own mistake of not seeking a wider fit. All can say for sure is that my customer service experience was great. After my review, Sureway reached out and the representative offered either a replacement or a full refund, neither of which I was expecting. I chose the refund, only because I hoped to seek out an alternative style. Ultimately, the refund and service has ensured me a purchase with Sureway will at least be a risk free venture and considering that the boot I purchased was mostly well made with most issues stemming from the elastic Chelsea Style, I will likely be purchasing from Sureway again, despite my initial misfortunes.
