So far as I just got them and haven't done much but put them in my feet, they are pretty solid. Made of leather. Seems very durable. Solid. Leather isn't cheap or thin, boots are very stiff out of the box. Gonna take a few weeks to break them in it seems. Can't comment on comfort at the moment because they need broken in and are very stiff. I'm sure will be much better once well worn. The sole of the boots seems very tough. Has a very hard clack when walking. My only real complaint is that these boots aren't sold in wide sizes. Definitely would be better if they were, my feet are fat AF. Material is black and almost velvety. I bought the matte black ones and they are very nice looking.

These boots look great and are really comfortable right out of the box. With a little breaking in, I can only imagine these getting better. I’m in construction sales and these seem to fit right with my role. Not too business man and not too construction worker. Just right.

Had to buy these three separate times to get the right size. I'm usually a 7.5, but my feet measure exactly ten inches, so I went by their inch measurement on the size chart and ordered an 8.5 (10.1"). Way too big. Like by an inch at least. So I returned them and ordered an 8. Still too big. So I returned those and ordered a 7.5. What do you know. They fit. So I dunno. Ignore their inch measurement I guess. Seem well made and sturdy, but I ordered these as upscale casual boots, not work boots. Decently comfortable out of the box but definitely need to be broken in. The insoles are cushy but the arch support is non-existent. The insoles are removable, though, so they're easy to replace. And the boots are roomy enough I can fit a pair of Walkhero insoles in on top of the included insoles without crushing my toes too badly. I really like how they look, though, and I'm confident they'll break in well. The leather is nice on them and so are the soles. If they don't, I guess I'll come back here and yap about it. But for now, pretty pleased with what I got for the price.

While I wouldn't consider myself an expert on boots, I do own quite a few pairs from brands like Thursday, Grant Stone, Jim Green, Wolverine 1000 Mile, Red Wing, Thorogood, among others. Right off the top, are these as good as Grant Stone? No. Are they as good as Red Wing Heritage? No. Are they as good as Thursday? Almost. But out of the aforementioned brands, I would compare these most, as far as materials and construction go, to probably Thorogood. Good but not the best leather. Good but not the best hardware. Goodyear welted but with a rubber/plastic welt. Cork in the midsole (so they claim at Sureway) with a rubber slip sole between the welt and outsole. Steel shank for arch support. Fiberboard lasting board. Thorogood does add an additional layer of thin foam in the foot bed but that's one of the few differences. The two major differences are the country of manufature and the price. Thorogood boots are made in the USA and retail for about $250 while these are made overseas for only $100. Thorogood are also legitimate work boots while these are more fashion oriented. I would not wear these to do any kind of hard labor. But for $100 you're getting a pretty well built pair of boots that look good and feel pretty comfortable. The Arizona Adobe leather is nice and looks even better (in my opinion) after putting some shoe cream on it. I still can't really tell what material the heel stack is made from though and I don't feel like willingly scraping the finish off to find out. My guess is probably synthetic or maybe stacked leatherboard. For a good everyday boot that you don't need to worry about beating up, these are great. Time will tell how they hold up but so far I am very happy with my purchase. For $100 these seem to be a great value, especially if they prove to be durable as well. 10/22 Update: After a couple weeks of casual use I seem to have an issue with the heel cup on one of the boots. It's become very soft just above the welt to the point you can push it down and crease the heel cup. It no longer keeps its shape and as a result makes my heel feel a bit unstable. I have reached out to the company and I'm awaiting a response. 10/28 Update: Since the issue was difficult to demonstrate in a photo, the company didn't seem to be readily willing to resolve the issue claiming I wasn't able to show anything blatantly obvious. I reached out to Amazon and they are fortunately going to allow me to return the boots. The heel counter has continued to soften and will likely get worse. By the time it fails to the extent it can be seen in a photo then it will be impossible to return them. Thank you, Amazon, for stepping up when the company seemed like it was trying to avoid a resolution.

I tried Thursdays boots and sent them back. These Sureway boots hit the mark on the first try. Well made with very little break-in period. I don't wear them everyday so will see how they last but am certain I will buy more pairs in other colors, large selection available.

I am usually a Doc Martens guy, but I really like these. I think they run a little large, so I might try 10.5 wide instead of 11 next time (eyeing the Arizona Adobe). They took a while to break in, but now that they have, they are very comfortable. The foot bed is a bonus, very similar to a Dr. Scholls insert, so i can wear them all day. They pair well with nice jeans and chinos for a sharper casual or even business casual look. I like that they can be resoled, too, which means I will have these for a long time.
