I LOVE these skates. I took em to a rink today and as soon as I put them on, I heard a child take a big GULP of air and scream "I don't want THESE skates, I want THOSE" and he pointed to mine as he proceeded to launch into a complete fashion-based meltdown. Anyway, these skates are solid. They take some breaking in but it happens quickly. I'm gonna put some different color laces on em for a little visual variety but otherwise no complaints.     • Was pleased... until the grommets started coming out and no return allowed
I was initially so happy with these as an affordable alternative to the Moxi. Nice wide boot, super soft wheels for outdoor, rich colors... and then while lacing up for the fourth(!!!) time, one of the top grommets detached on both sides. It's not the worst skate malfunction, for sure, but the suede is already stretching out on that grommet-less hole. Most importantly, now I'm concerned how long it'll be until the others start falling out too. What a bummer. Especially as it happened one day past the return date. I wear a size 9 in women’s shoes. I ordered a size 8 in these skates. I think they are an ideal fit. Not too large, but a little extra wiggle room for the toes. And they roll quite nicely on the sidewalks and pathways. The purple is very pretty.

These are so pretty and skated smooth when I tried them on. BUT I got the wrong size so they were too big! I'm so depressed. I had to return them. (And they don't have my actual size now because everything is sold out!) But these seemed really nice, a good pair of skates. Be sure you get your exact size! Measure your foot from heel to toe, that number is super important for sizing. Shipping was crazy fast too. It's a real shame I couldn't keep them. ... show more

I haven't skated since I was LITTLE, like 8 years old, and wanted to get back into it. I started with a $40 pair from academy sports. Since I was using them pretty regularly I decided to get something nicer. I was looking for Mollys but everything was sold out. I happened upon these and they have been great. The best thing about them (and probably any "good skates") is how customizable they are. The wheels and the part the shoe is connected to can be loosened and tightened to your level and whatever you're skating on. I wear a size 6-6.5 in regular shoes and a size 4 skate fits me. ... show more

    • Awesome for wide feet, great quality skates and wheels
These skates are amazing for wide flat feet. I wear a 6EE in hockey ice skates and buying those was a real ordeal. Bought these in a 9 and they fit awesome, I don’t even have to do any lacing tricks though I’m sure if I did it might even improve the fit. I haven’t tried Moxi skates so I can’t speak to the fit compared to those (have done enough research to know they are made for average feet) but I will note that these do not have a lining inside the suede like moxis do. I always wear socks with mine so it’s never an issue but I believe that the suede on these may be less form-fitting over time than what you might notice with moxis. Overall I would rather have a skate that fits from day one than maybe some broken in ones that are awesome in months. Skates usually hurt my feet so bad that I can’t ever get past that break in period. I have tried Impalas and those are not wide at all. Even the black ones that everyone says is wide. Also they are just super sketchy skates in general. The construction of these sure grips compared to impalas is 10x better and you will feel way more confident as a beginner skater on these SGs. The SG boardwalk wheels are amazing to skate on outdoors. I was gifted a set of the hybrid hardness Luminous wheels and new bearings for Christmas so I swap my sets out pretty frequently and there is a noticeable difference, the Boardwalk wheels are way easier to skate on sidewalks and roadways. Some folks say you need to have an aluminum plate if you are over 180lbs. but these nylon plates are just fine AS LONG AS you are not trying to do tricks, grinds, drop ins at a skate park. You should have aluminum plates for a park no matter what you weigh. Overall if you have wide feet give these a shot you will not be disappointed. ... show more

Great quality skate. They were a little stiff of course so it will take a while to break in. My feet must be on wide side, ordered 8 for women's 9 toe area narrow. I sprayed Shoe Stretch and put in boot stretcher. Ready to roll!

I am a US women’s 7.5 In vans shoes I purchased and men’s size 5 in these skates and the are a bit snug but I know from experience this type is leather will stretch after the break in period. I highly suggest buying these skates if they have them in your size ... show more
