I’m so happy with these skates! This was a corona virus social distancing purchase, and I’m so glad to have them. They feel a little stiff at first, but once you get them on and start skating, they feel incredible. Nice and fast, great control, and they look badass.

I am obsessed with skating which is funny because it is not something very popular here in Kansas. We have a limited amount of skating rinks so you need to be dedicated if you plan to purchase your own skates. I really like my Sure Grip Malibu skates. I got black ones and dressed them up with some colorful wheels and laces. I found this saved me around 80 bucks from the already bright and colorful skates you can buy. I love how the wheels are for outdoors and can be used about anywhere. I did purchases some indoor wheels as well to ensure I can actually use them at my rink. The only downfall to these skates is they need broke in, as any pair would. The back ankle part really rubs the back of my leg and hurts but I keep trucking because one day the leather will break down and they will fit like a glove. They do make some ankle guard socks for skates that rub and I am considering buying them to make the breaking in process a little easier.

Im a 9 in womans shoes and a 7 in men's shoes, and i have a wide foot. I got a size 8 in these and they fit fine. These are my first pair of skates and I'm learning how to skate in these, they work fine for that. I don't know how comfortable they would be for long rides. I rated these three stars because the laces are way too short. I would recommend getting new ones right away. I'm also planning on getting a new toe stop and wheels. The ones they come with are fine, but the toe stop leaves black marks and I want to try a more gummy wheel because I ride Outdoors. They also take a long time to get on and off because they don't have lace hooks.

This review is not directed towards the store but yet the product only. Very fast shipping and arrived at described. Regarding the skate: for the price I would expect better comfort and more quality in the material. No inside padding and the frame is plastic, which concerns me with use for outside skating. The wheels are A+ and perfect for outdoor use.

These skates are not of pro quality, but they have worked great for me. I am a woman's 11, but I got the size 10. Unless you loosen the wheels (roller rinks can usually do that for you), they won't go very fast, which might be a quality beginner skaters are looking for. The boots aren't lined and the inside is rough, and so you will want to layer socks or wear thick socks. The wheels and bearings are long-lasting but low quality, so if you skate well you'll eventually want to replace them. The wheels are an 88a, which means they are relatively grippy. All in all, these are great skates for beginners and work best indoors, on a tennis court, etc.

Let me start by saying, the item pictured is not what you get. I received these skates 1 week ago and noticed immediately the boot is not Sure Grip brand (as pictured). It’s California Skate Co. The components are Sure Grip brand, however, and upon receiving these I immediately sent a message to the seller, thinking I had been ripped off. Come to find out California Skate Co has been selling these for years: California Skate Co boot with Sure Grip components. I have been practicing skating since I got these for about 30 minutes a day for 1 week (beginner). The boot eyelets are already coming off. Almost wish I would’ve paid the extra $100 for real Sure Grip skates, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the actual boot is built better that the shoe lace eyelets. They still work as beginner skates, but hoping this isn’t a precursor. I’ll update again after a few months of using them.

Really nice skates! These are a men’s size 11 but they fit my woman’s size 11 feet 😳 lol oh well. They are made of really nice leather too. As people noted, it’s stiff leather so you will need to use them a few times to soften it up. I just wore them with tall socks. Love them :)
