Great looking ... classic cotton percale.
UPDATE: I've changed my original 4 stars to 5 stars now that I've been using my first 2 sets for a year. Why? They have held up great and show no signs of wear. I also thought that the 5 stars would balance out against some bad reviews from people who obviously KNOW ZERO FACTS ABOUT PERCALE ... it is not a type of cotton ... it is the weave (tight) of the fabric as opposed to a sateen weave (looser) ... cotton percale sheets are NOT supposed to be extremely plush and cuddly ... basically, the opposite of microfiber sheets. Cotton percale sheets are cool and crisp. Lastly, 100% cotton sheets wrinkle ... especially for people who overly dry their sheets on higher temperatures or people who don't take them out of the dryer within a short time after they are ready. I also wanted to share a few facts about my bed in this update: I have a 13 inch premium quality all foam mattress with an additional 4 inch memory foam topper on it ... so my mattress is 17 inches in height when combined. (These sheets fit and do not pop off ... but the corners are tight ... which probably helps with why my fitted sheet has very few wrinkles.) Finally, in this update I'm adding a few pics to show exactly how my 1 year old sheets look on my bed ... straight out of the dryer. Ok ... now for my original review of the sheets. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) I LOVE these sheets! For the price ... these are really excellent quality and ... they are COMFORTABLE! I'm 65 so classic cotton percale weave sheets are exactly the sheets I was raised with. I like cotton ... either cotton jersey knit sheets or for the South Texas weather you can't go wrong with cotton percale. These are cool, crisp and smooth to the touch and the weight is dead on for 300 thread count cotton percale. If you are used to soft, cozy sheets like microfiber or even cotton but a softer sateen weave ... then do NOT buy these sheets. Remember, these are 100% cotton so do NOT over dry them or leave for hours in the dryer ... they will be WRINKLED. I wash mine in cool water and add a little fabric softener and a splash of white vinegar. I dry them on low temp and remove when almost dry and lay flat on my bed. Within an hour or so I usually put them on the bed or fold them. I'm ordering two more sets of these so I can rotate them out and have one just in case they get discontinued. If they are like any of my previous percale sheets ... they will get more and more comfortable as I continue to use them and should last 8-10 years. Hopefully these will continue to be sold since most of my other brands of percale aren't available ... which is why I have that third set on order. ** FINAL NOTE: these are definitely 100% cotton and are crisp and cool, yet very smooth feeling but they are BRUSHED COTTON ... which is why they are just a tiny bit softer when compared to standard cotton percale sheets. They are still cool, crisp cotton percale sheets, but the "brushing" process during production does make them slightly softer ... sort of like how they would naturally feel after using and washing them many times. I have zero issues recommending these sheets ... unless you are a fan of microfiber or sateen weave sheets ... God forbid :).

Comfortable, high quality sheet set
The first sheet set I ordered was for my husband's day bed he lives on in his "man cave." After checking the feel, the elastic on the fitted sheet, how deep the pockets are, and checking the over-hang of the top sheet, I decided to wash them. I inspected them after drying them. Sheets seemed to be ok. We put them on the bed with no problems at all. The fitted sheet has the deepest and best-fitting pockets I have ever had in a fitted sheet. It fits snugly. The elastic is the best I have ever had on a fitted sheet. The sheet has stayed in place with no issues at all. The over-hang is just the right length for me. These are the white sheets. I have been looking for new sheets for my queen size bed. I decided to order the queen set in ivory for me. I am so pleased we were able to discover these sheets. The deep pockets on the queen fitted sheet fit like a glove. We have washed both sets several times and continue to have the same good results, no shrinkage. I am so impressed with how well the fitted sheet does not move, dislodge from between the box springs and the mattress. My husband's daybed has a piece of plywood on top of the slats. His sheet does not move either. As far as the colors being an issue, hard to go wrong with white or ivory. I highly recommend this sheet set.

These sheets are organic (actually certified) 100% cotton percale. Hard to find. They are a thicker fabric that is breathable. They are smooth but not silky or satiny. They have some substance. So they are not as soft as sateen, more crisp. But I really like them because they breathe better and do not trap the heat. I feel like they will last a long time as long as I don’t wash/dry them too hot. The fitted sheet stays on the bed better than a lot of fitted sheets. They do wrinkle and they do shrink a bit when laundered but I really like them. Reasonable price especially when on sale. My new go to sheet.

I have to have three sets of sheets because my dogs sleep with me and I am allergic to dander. I change them often. I bought these and on pair of equal value from another retailer that said they were almost identical. These sheets are fantastic. I have washed them three times so far and they come out of the laundry great. I have only had them a few weeks but compared to the other set I bought these sheets beat those out by 50 percent. As I am washing one pair I am putting another on the bed. They are not as soft as I would like yet, but I know with cotton the more you wash them the softer they get. The thickness is perfect. I do not lose this sheet at night like I did a microfiber sheet, it stays at the top of the bed. I live in Dallas so I cannot say anything about the warmth of these, but I can say I am not waking up with night sweats as much so to me that alone is perfect. We will have to wait for color weather to comment on those, but I am very hot natured, so I don't want a heavy warm sheet. The price was great for these sheets. I am going to buy a 2nd pair and get rid of the old set, and deal with the lesser quality one I bought at the other retail store for about the same price. I love, love the blue color. My room is in greys, a bit of blue, and browns and seeing this sheet set under the comforter is very appealing.

The sheets are actually terrific but the color was COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTED. Instead of being a soft aqua they were actually a kind of prison grey green color. I was super disappointed as I purchased them to go with specific bedding. I kept them because I didn't want to be responsible for them possibly ending up in a landfill but I was deeply disappointed.

Great sheets for the price. Very pleased!
These are the only sheets we’ve used on our king sized bed for the past 1 1/2 years now. Great sheets for the price! They are holding up extremely well. No pilling or thinning whatsoever. I love the crisp fresh coolness of cotton. Our mattress is 12” deep, with a memory foam topper. The fitted sheet can accommodate this depth. The top sheet, however, is not wide enough to tuck in on the sides. I thought this would be a problem but it ended up being no big deal. I tuck the top sheet in securely at the foot of the bed by bringing the top sheet down about 8-10” inches from the top of the bed. This allows me to tuck in more sheet at the foot of the bed. My husband is 6’ 2” and kicks his legs around a lot. The sheet stays securely in place. I would buy these sheets again …if they ever wear out! Haha

Amazing, crispy SECURE

To start off, these are crispy, cooling to the touch and breathable. My only gripe is the smell when they are taken out of the package. Obviously when they're washed, they are PERFECT!! We have an adjustable bed and finding sheets that are cotton and stay on has been a huge challenge. I don't like bamboo, rayon, and I especially hate microfiber. The amount of money spent on sheets that claim they are cotton, have deep pockets, stay on, etc has been ridiculous. These are your granny's crisp cotton, line dried sheets and they actually stay on!! I would definitely repurchase-the price is well worth the value of these! Ps, I never write reviews - but I had to!
