I purchased the black in a king size, I have a tempurpedic mattress with an overstuffed topper and the fitted sheet fits beautifully! I have purchased the 1500 thread count prior with another company who has since discontinued carrying them so I was quite nervous purchasing these! Fantastic value. I bought two pillowcases first to be sure of the quality and was so pleased by the quality, followed up by ordering the whole king set. Very pleased with the quality of the fabric and they were made well despite the 'made in China' label. These sheets washed well with no shrinkage. Having put some vinegar in the first wash I have no idea if these would bleed black but they did not with about l/2 c vinegar to the wash the first time. These sheets and pillowcases were a tad stiff after the first wash, however, they turned soft as butter after the second. They are sooo smooth to the skin on sliding into bed after a long day. You should also know these sheets are thick and a lovely deep black. The fit was as specified...oversized. The weight of these sheets may not be welcomed in very warm climes....however for cooler areas I have noticed these act as a blanket, which results in less heavy blankets required. I have found the electric blanket is not necessary....so far, and it's been below freezing for a while here in the mountains of Arizona. It is my pleasure to highly recommend these sheets to anyone looking for quality at a reasonable price. ... show more

I didn't give this 1-star because they are durable. I have had these sheets for about 2 years, but they are nowhere close to quality sheets; they are no better than you can get at Walmart or even Ross. Save yourself the money and get something at your local retail store.
