I received these sheets 2 weeks ago by way of the usual swift Amazon fulfillment. I must say these are truly outstanding! These are, bar none, the softest, most comfortable non-flannel/fleece sheets I have ever owned. They are also extremely heavy in construction and I expect will be very durable. I note another reviewer's comment that she had washed these ~45 times without any ill effect to the material and I can well believe that. I also note several reviewers have commented that these are not oversized and have not fit their mattresses. I find that hard to believe. The fitted sheet swallowed my king size pillow-top Tempur-pedic in one gulp. Also, the pillowcases could readily be used as a sleeping bag by a good-sized child! I hate it when people refer to heavy, high thread count, single ply Egyptian cotton thread as "soft." "Smooth" is better. It is the smoothness as well as the weight that makes them feel so luxurious. Thinner, "soft" sheets drape all around the body restricting air flow--these heavy sheets tend to tent (more structured as they lay over you)--allowing the air to come underneath and circulate. For this reason they are cool when they need to be (summer) and insulating with heavier blankets in winter. They are sublime. Fold them while warm from the dryer to keep them wrinkle free and make sure the shinier, correct side goes against the skin. Heaven. ... show more

these sheets are of the poorest quality I've ever experienced. the elastic broke in the fitted sheet as I was putting it on the bed. the so called 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton was as thin as tissue paper and the barely covered the mattress with 6" max hanging off of both sides on the top sheet. the seller did not have a contact phone available. amazon could not even provide me with an address or contact number for this fly by night company. I will never use amazon again to purchase anything from a different seller. I am so displeased with the lack of customer service with two sets of sheets purchased from 2 different sellers and they now tell me that I can't return them. ... show more

We have only had these sheets for a few months and the fitted sheet has already split at the seam. I have never had this happen, especially to thick, expensive sheets like these.
